Welcome to Part 1!
I'm so happy, inspiration is flying in from all
directions, I have a great comedy fic going with my
onee-chan fuzzy_elf, and I may be starting a joint fic
with Stef-chan, she's just as insane as me so no worries
there!

Hopefully any questions you have will be answered here. Oh
and, yes I did make Usagi and Mamoru telepathic, well only
with each other, but it wont be used for a while yet, I only
mention it further down.

Thank you LunarBard! The first person to comment on this
fic! I appreciate these comments more then you can imagine.

Here we go!

1 week after the Prologue

Mamoru looked at the man lying asleep in the hospital
bed with curiosity. No one knew where he had come from or
what his purpose was. But he had been in serious condition,
they had to help. The doctors had said he suffered more
from exhaustion then physical injuries, and it had been easy
to get him back into good form. He was well built and
looked strong and must have been through a heck of a lot to
get into this condition. The senshi only knew that he had
been in a fight and then was mysteriously teleported to the
space craft that they had been on when Usagi disappeared.
Mamoru sighed, there wasn't a moment when he didn't
think about her, Chibi-Usa's returning to the future didn't
help either. The first few days he had been a wreck, but
still he could feel Usagi was alive even if she wasn't with
him. And that alone kept him going. He let the girls feel proud that they had pulled him out of his slump. And maybe
they had helped a little, but if Usagi had really been dead
he wouldn't be here right now. He couldn't live without
her.
The man on the bed mumbled something and then his eyes
shot open. They were dark eyes that matched his hair. But
they seemed friendly enough. Mamoru walked over to the bed.
"Hi there. I'm Mamoru; How are you feeling?" he asked
trying to sound as cheery as possible.
The man looked straight into Mamoru's eyes, he seemed
to study Mamoru for a moment and then responded slowly.
"I'm Goku; Better, I think. Where am I?"
Mamoru pulled a chair up to the bed and sat down. "In
the hospital. You were pretty beat up when they brought you
in."
Goku chuckled and sat up, "Of course, Frieza..." but
how'd I get off Namek? He thought to himself. He paused for
a second. "This doesn't look like the hospital."
Mamoru was taken aback for a moment. "I thought they
all looked the same." Scary and creepy, he added mentally to
himself. He'd never liked hospitals. "But apparently you
aren't from around here. You're in Tokyo, Japan."
"Earth?" asked Goku, Mamoru's eyes narrowed ever so
slightly. And he nodded, "Of course, where else would you
be?"
Now it was Goku's turn to be a little shocked, "I
thought that ever since Capsule Corp. perfected space flight
everyone knew interplanetary travel was possible."
Mamoru couldn't think of what to say, he'd never heard
of such a company. Then again Setsuna had said he's
probably full of surprises, and of course she had said
nothing more.
Goku filled Mamoru's confusion away and continued on,
"I think I remember a group of people... Ah, I think they
called themselves the Sailor Senshi."
Mamoru smiled, "Well that's who brought you in. They
said you got caught up in their fight. Oh and they asked me
to give you this." Mamoru handed Goku a slip of paper, and
Goku took it with mild confusion. "By the way you're
getting released today. And I have to go now."
"Wait!" exclaimed Goku, "Why are *you* here?"
Mamoru smiled, "Just think of me as a friend." And
with that he left Goku to his musings. Goku shook his head,
Mamoru had said he was on Earth, but this wasn't the Earth
he remembered. Was he dead? No things were running too
normally for him to be dead. Carefully unfolded the scrap
of paper that Mamoru had handed him. It simply read:
*
	Dear sir,
When we found you, you were unconscious before
we could talk properly. We would like to discuss where you
came from and what you are doing here. The day you are
released meet us at the following location and we'll see
what we can do for you. We mean you no harm.
	Sincerely,
The Sailor Senshi's acting leader Sailor Venus.
*
Goku took in the directions quickly, they were simple
enough to follow. And it seemed he would have to trust
these people for now. But what did this Sailor Venus mean
by 'acting leader' he wondered. It was a fleeting thought.
And all he got before a nurse came in to prepare him to
leave.

The first thing Usagi registered as she woke was that
she was in a soft bed. There was a strange smell in the air
but nothing incredibly noticeable. She reluctantly opened
her eyes and was greeted by the soft light of the small
little room she was in. She yawned and somebody beside her
jumped. Usagi sat up and came face to face with a dark
haired woman.
"Who are you?" asked Usagi, starting to get worried,
"And what am I doing here?"
The woman smiled softly, "My name is Chichi and I have
no idea what you are doing here other then the fact that you
fell out of the sky met the two scariest members of our
little band of friends and passed out. And you would be?"
Usagi took a moment to remember, "Usagi." She said
quietly, "The green guy is a- a-"
"Namekian, his name is Piccolo," she sat down on the
bed, "I personally think he's scary and I'm not surprised by
your reaction. But at the moment he's friendly. Now
Vegeta.... Bulma thinks he's ok, but I don't know."
"Vegeta? Bulma?" now Usagi was even more confused.
Chichi laughed, "Oh I suppose the easiest way would be
to introduce you if you're feeling ok. You have been out
for a week you know!"
"A WEEK?" shrieked Usagi flying to her knees, "Mamoru
and the girls must be worried sick, I have to call them!"
She swung her legs over the side of the bed and ran into a
little dizzy spell nothing bad though. She then noticed she
was still dressed in her crumpled school uniform and a
million thoughts hit her at once. Nutagi, her broach, the
Ginzuishou, what if she had killed everyone? Why weren't
they with her? She started to panic a little but caught
herself just in time. She slowed down and took a deep
breath.
First try calling Mamoru, she said to herself. To do
it telepathically would be best. So she opened her mind to
find him and reached nothing. She searched harder and
farther and felt him just barely. But he was so distant he
couldn't have been on the Earth. She started to panic again
when Chichi pulled her out of her thoughts.
"Usagi?" she asked, placing a hand on the blonde's
shoulder. Usagi shook her head, "Sorry, can I ask you a
question?" Chichi nodded, "I am on Earth right."
Chichi laughed softly, "Of course you are! Come on,
let's get you into something better and then I'll introduce
you!" The next thing Usagi knew she was being dragged off
to a closet full of clothes.

**

About half an hour later Usagi emerged clean and fresh
in a pale green jumpsuit. Not the most comfortable thing in
the world but it was better then her wrinkled uniform.
Chichi led her out of the house which lay in the
middle of the forest to a large clearing. In it there
seemed to be a sparring contest going. There was the green
man, Piccolo, that Usagi had seen earlier in a clear
defensive stance with a little kid that couldn't have been
more then 5 or 6 in an attacking stance.
The short man Chichi had said was called Vegeta was
leaning against a tree with an un-amused look in his eyes.
Or at least at first glance he was, but after a moment or
two Usagi noticed he was watching the match intensely.
There was another small green kid at the edge of the
clearing watching the battle happily. And lastly sitting
next to the small green kid was a woman with shoulder length
green hair. She appeared to be watching the match but her
gaze was off a little, almost as if she were staring though
the fighters and towards... Vegeta!
Chichi hollered at the group and the match stopped as
they came over to where Chichi and Usagi were standing.
Only Vegeta remained where he was.
Chichi then introduced everyone. "Everyone this
girl's name is Usagi. And apparently she's as clueless as
we are." She started, Piccolo nodded almost imperceptibly
and Chichi continued, "You've met Piccolo I believe Usagi."
Usagi blushed with embarrassment and nodded. "And this is
Bulma our tech. wizard with a rich father." Bulma shot
daggers at Chichi for the way she had said that and then
extended her hand to Usagi.
"Pleased to meet you properly. Sorry about what
happened, Piccolo and Vegeta are quite intimidating."
Usagi nodded a little dumbfounded as Chichi continued,
"And the little Namek's name is Dende. He's only here
temporarily and he's very shy. But he's also been a very
good friend to Gohan apparently." She said gesturing to the
young boy, "Gohan's my son. By the way Gohan are you
finished training with Piccolo yet? You've still got a lot
of work to do young man!"
Gohan visibly shrunk and he nodded to his mom, "Yes
mother, and uh, nice to meet you Usagi. I hope everything
works out."
	Usagi nodded again.
"She doesn't talk much does she." Commented Bulma.
Usagi looked at the woman, "Gomen ne Bulma-sama, I'm
just a little dumbfounded that's all." And then a little
quieter she added to herself, "Plus I can't sense Mamoru
anywhere."
Apparently she hadn't been quite enough as Piccolo
responded. "You can sense?" he asked gruffly.
Usagi nodded, "Mainly just Mamoru though. I could
feel him if he was on the other side of the Earth, but I
can't feel him now. I hope he's ok."
Gohan sidled up to Usagi, "I can tell he means a lot
to you. But don't worry I know how you feel. Everything
will be fine."
Usagi looked dubiously at the little tyke and sighed,
"Whatever." She muttered, this time quiet enough to keep it
to herself. "That's nice Gohan but I doubt you could feel
this way."
	Gohan huffed, "Try me."
Usagi smiled at the little kid, "Ok kid, tell me how
you could possibly feel this way?" she asked crouching down
to his height. The others drifted off and Gohan told his
story.
"My Dad, Goku the Super Seijan went off to fight and
evil man named Frieza and even though he won the planet he
was on was destroyed! I bet you have no idea what that
feels like!" he exclaimed, he was trying to look indignant
but Usagi saw though his little charade.
Her heart ached for the little Gohan, "Gee I'm sorry
kid, must be tough." She sat down on the grass. "At least I
think Mamo-chan's still alive."
Gohan sat down beside her, "Who is he?" he asked, his
view of the young woman changing slightly.
Usagi sighed, she couldn't tell him the whole truth
but she didn't need to. "My soul mate, the one I can't live
without. We were even together in our past lives. I'm sure
of it. And we're going to spend all eternity together.
Dead or alive. Hopefully alive though." A tear fell down
her cheek and Gohan and Usagi sat there talking for a while;
it looked like the young princess had made another friend.

Back in Tokyo Park a group of five warriors waited
sullenly for the arrival of Goku. They were the Sailor
Senshi, minus one. Sailor Jupiter, a tall brunette amazon
with emerald eyes, sat in an oak tree up in the highest
branches, having been posted look-out. Sailor Mars, a dark
haired priestess with starling violet eyes, was leaning up
against the same tree her eyes closed in concentration, her
senses alert to detect any evil that might approach. Sailor
Mercury, a mousy extremely intelligent girl with short blue
hair and quiet blue eyes, sat on the park bench under the
shade of the tree. But since it was midnight that mattered
little. Beside her was Sailor Venus, the blond with pale
blue eyes lost in thought, sat with her head resting in her
hands. Not far off sat Sailor Rain Drop, the most recent
addition to the Sailor Senshi, she dark blue hair down to
her shoulders and blue pools for eyes. Her Sailor fuku was
composed of two different shades of blue and as she stared
out at the quite lake it made one wonder what she might be
thinking about. The only man present was Tuxedo Mask, he
was sitting casually beside another tree, his mind lost in
thoughts of his lost love.
The group had been silent for a while until Rain Drop
giggled. The once placid lake had been picked up by a
seemingly non-existant wind and the waves were now crashing
against the shore. Rain Drop listened to the sound as if it
were music and resisted the urge to go play in the surf
knowing full well she had a job to do. She was probably the
one least disturbed by their leader's disappearance. It
wasn't that she didn't care, in fact Usagi had been the
kindest person to her when she first arrived, even though
she had started out evil. How Usagi had seen the good
inside was something she would never figure out. But she
hadn't known the girl nearly as long as the others. And
while she grieved for her loss it would almost seem wrong if
she felt the same as the others. She could feel the empty
spot Usagi's disappearance had left in her heart. But right
now the sound of the waves blocked out all else.
Sailor Mars rolled her eyes, "How can you be happy
about this?" she asked, not quite as gruffly as usual.
Rain Drop shrugged, "Gomen ne, Mars-chan if I have
offended you. But the waves are so beautiful and their song
so soothing."
Mars considered this for a moment before answering
wistfully, "I know how you feel, it's like when I'm
meditating by the sacred fire. We must all feel most happy
in out element."
There was a chorus of agreements from everyone but
Tuxedo Mask. But no one could blame him. They had been so
worried for him after Usagi's disappearance, he had
withdrawn completely, and even now he said little. They
wouldn't have asked him to go visit the man they now knew as
Goku except that they felt he might more comfortable around
another man.
"This is taking forever!" complained Venus.
Mars rolled her eyes, "Remind me again why we
appointed another blond as leader?"
"Hey I resent that!" shot back Venus. Mars considered
saying some more choice words, but it wasn't the same as
with Usagi and she just shrugged and backed off.
Mercury sighed, "Because Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus was
the leader of the senshi back on the moon and it was the
easiest way to choose without ending in a large argument."
She glanced down at her mini-computer again. "Besides it's
only temporary."
"It better be!" came Jupiter's reply from atop the
tree, "No offense Venus!"
Venus smiled wanly, "None taken." She responded
knowing full well Jupiter was referring to the hopeful
return of their real leader.
There was a rustle above Mars' head and Jupiter jumped
down easily from the tree. "Here he comes." She announced.
And everyone stood to greet their visitor.

***

It had taken Goku little time to decide to meet with
these 'Sailor Senshi'. They were the only people he could
relate to in was a strange New World he appeared to have
landed on. That Mamoru fellow had said it was called Earth.
But this was nothing like the Earth he knew. Well he
supposed it was in many ways, but there was no Capsule
Corp., no space travel, no one he knew, and to be able to
fly seemed an absurd idea here. Also he couldn't sense any
Dragon Balls. That wasn't really a definite factor but at
the moment it was all he had to work with.
He followed the simple directions on the piece of
paper he had been given and wound up in a peaceful little
park. Peaceful with one exception, despite the fact that
there was relatively no wind, there were waves crashing into
the beach. He made a note to inquire about that late.
He flipped the paper over to look at the map of the
park and quickly oriented himself heading towards a small
cluster of trees and a couple benches; it wasn't long until
he was rewarded by the view of 6 figures standing in a
group. Waiting for him.
He walked towards the group and noticed that though
they appeared friendly enough at first glance there was a
distinct sullen quality about them.
He reached the group and the blond senshi with the
orange and yellow fuku stepped towards him. All the girls
were dressed in these fuku with short skirts.
She extended a hand towards him in a friendly manner,
"Hi there, I'm Sailor Venus, momentary leader of the Sailor
Senshi."
Goku could here the senshi in red groan as she said
that but took Venus' hand. "Hi, I'm Goku."
The tall brunette stepped up next, "I'm Sailor
Jupiter."
Sailor Mars introduced herself, making a point to
shake Goku's hand, she got no negative vibes from him, and
nodded nearly imperceptibly. Sailor Mercury introduced
herself next, after having gotten another scan of the man.
The first one had been of him when he was drastically
injured; not a good thing to rely on. Sailor Rain Drop
introduced herself, pulling her consciousness away from the
water to the task at hand. Goku noted the difference in her
name along with the sudden stop of waves, determined to take
in every little detail.
Tuxedo Mask shook Goku's hand as he introduced himself
and Goku got a flash of recognition but nothing more.
As Goku met each of the senshi the tension seemed very
high. But Goku took this moment to scan each of the
senshi's power levels. He was still a little week from his
escapade with Frieza leading to him ending up here. But he
got some fairly high levels. And was surprised by that,
because he had never met a female warrior before.
Sailor Venus was looking quite nervous, and the way
she had pointed out that she was not the real leader of this
group said something else. She wasn't used to this, and
apparently didn't want to replace whoever's spot she had
taken.
The group decided to sit down and Sailor Mars was the
first to talk, "So who are you and how did you get here?"
she demanded.
Goku scratched his head, well the first question is
easy enough, its probably best to leave some information out
though. "Well my name, as I said before, is Goku. And as
to how I got here, well the planet I was on last I remember
was about to blow up thanks to a very powerful force when
all of a sudden I found myself with you people."
That answer apparently didn't satisfy the group. Mars
turned to Jupiter, "I don't sense any evil in him," she
whispered, "I still don't trust him though." Jupiter
shrugged and was about to reply when Goku started talking.
Apparently Mars hadn't whispered quietly enough, "I
don't blame you for not trusting me." He said honestly,
"You're all acting as if someone from your group, probably
your leader, is missing and the way I figure it I showed up
at the convenient time to be most suspected. Well I'm sorry
about your friend, but I honestly had nothing to do with
it."
Now the senshi didn't know what to say, did they tell
this stranger about Usagi or not? Could he really be
trusted? Fortunately for the others levelheaded Mercury
took the situation into her own hands.
"How may I ask did you come to that assumption Goku-
san?" she asked politely.
Goku raised a finger, "Well to start your, 'acting
leader' there gave it away. And considering I'm new in the
neighborhood and the way I showed up its natural to suspect
me. I would if I were you right now."
Mercury sighed, "If no one here objects I think I'll
tell you a little. Maybe it'll jog your memory."
There were choruses of shrugs as most were relieved
Ami was taking responsibility. Goku nodded his head and
Mercury started to explain, (AN: this is for all of you who
didn't read the prequel to this!)
"First I must start be telling you that there are 5,
well 6, senshi other than Sailor Moon not present at the
moment. They are the outer senshi Uranus, Neptune, Saturn
and Pluto. The wish not to get involved in this as of yet
as their mission has always differed from ours. Sailor
Chibi-Moon, and Sailor Chibi-Chibi, the latter is not really
a senshi by our definition but important none the less.
"Anyway, we had been under attack by a band of female
warriors calling themselves the Ticha, we have indications
that they were following orders from others but that seemed
to be a moot point as things progressed. They started with
5 Ticha, Acidia, Celestiria, Hera, Hestia and Versa. Hera
was the first we managed to get rid of followed quickly by
Acidia who is actually not dead but sitting right across
from you. Sailor Moon discovered that Acidia was not who
she seemed not only was she much younger then the others,
but she was good, she could feel it. It shocked us all when
she turned out to be a senshi, not even one with a planet at
that. But she's been a great ally, and I personally
consider her just as important as the rest of us. We
managed to defeat Celestiria as quickly as possible but not
before she gained knowledge of most of our identities.
"Hestia took this knowledge and grabbed Tuxedo Mask
while he was in civilian form. This of course sent Sailor
Moon, our leader, bolting out to save him. The resulting
fight was hard and at one point Sailor Moon was critically
burnt, in a sort of final strike from Hestia, and we rushed
her to the local hospital. She was about to be released
when a youma appeared to each of us and we were forced to
defend ourselves. Tuxedo Mask had been with Sailor Moon
when the youma intended for him started sneaking up on
Sailor Chibi-Moon." Mercury paused and seemed to consider
what to say for a moment.
"Sailor Chibi-Moon is back at home in the future right
now. I doubt you'll meet here."
Goku nodded slowly, so they could time travel,
interesting. Mercury continued.
"Tuxedo Mask was forced to leave Sailor Moon's guard,
he had no choice, and that's when Versa appeared, she'd
shown up before and we assume Sailor Moon noticed it was
her, but it was too late Chibi-Chibi had been with her but
we not sure what happened to her yet. Versa completely
disregarded Sailor Moon's transformation locket and
disappeared with her as soon as Tuxedo-san got back into the
room.
"We managed to track her down eventually and
teleported to the ship you found us on. Now Versa was
infinitely stronger then all the other Ticha, except for
maybe Acidia, and she was keeping us from getting to Sailor
Moon. She hit us hard and fast, an extremely power woman.
But Tuxedo Mask managed to get to Usagi.
"Now the rest he told me since I wasn't there, but
Sailor Moon was lying on the ground, unconscious and very
pale. Tuxedo-san feared she was dead, but that was not so.
She was fighting Nutagi, our true enemy, in her mind.
Nutagi bent on taking over Sailor Moon's body, the only one
she would be able to live in without her dark energy
decaying it. Or so she thought. But Moon defeated her and
Nutagi was thrown out. At the same moment something that we
couldn't identify at the time attacked Versa and overpowered
her. We were grateful, still worried, but more concerned
for out leader, and we ran for where Tuxedo Mask had gone.
"When we reached them Sailor Moon was awake and she
quickly healed our wounds as best she could when Versa came
back, except it wasn't really Versa, it was Nutagi in
Versa's body. Versa no longer existed. She was really,
really mad, and attack Sailor Moon with a vengeance. A
bright red shield saved Moon from the first blast along with
some of ours. And Chibi-Chibi appeared for a moment and the
disappeared again, Chibi-Moon said she went back to where
she came from.
"Nutagi and Sailor Moon fought and Sailor Moon won
with some new-found powers after her transformation locket
shattered. But her powers were new and un-controlled and
while Nutagi was destroyed Usagi disappeared, and that's
when you came in." There it was, abbreviated, but there.
Goku took this all in very calmly being careful to
observe the reactions of those around him as well. He had
always been pretty good at reading people, and he quickly
noted that this Sailor Moon was a very, very close friend.
And that it was a touchy subject especially towards the man
who called himself Tuxedo Mask, if Goku was right he may
even have spotted a tear in the man's eye. Sailor Mercury
not detailed the two's relationship but he could guess.
Goku started asking questions about this and that,
mainly on time-travel, Sailor Rain Drop and how Sailor Moon
healed. The others answered as best they could without
giving away too much. They eventually told Goku about
Serenity and the future; as well as explaining that Sailor
Rain Drops best guess as to her purpose was that there were
a few more like her whom all fought for the earth. And how
she used to be an immortal sprite.
The group eventually started to run out of things to
say when all of a sudden a purple-green rift in time and
space opened just behind Goku and Sailor Pluto stepped out.
The senshi jumped to their feet to greet the
mysterious senshi and Goku stood as well, if a little
warily.
"Greetings senshi, and greetings Goku. Goku, I am
Sailor Pluto, guardian of the gate of time, I'm sure that
when we get to know each other I can tell you what you would
like to know on the subject of time travel. But for now I'm
afraid that though I bring good news I also bring some bad."
"Like what Pluto?" asked Venus quickly.
Pluto smiled, "Well the good news is I've done some
looking at your friend here and you don't have to worry. He
is a very trustworthy person."
	"How do you-" Goku stammered.
Pluto shook her head, "I told you, I'm the guardian of
time and space. And well I've also got a few inter-
dimensional contacts, which is how I know about you. I
believe you've met King Kai..."
Goku shook his head vigorously, "Of course! Does that
mean you know how I got here?"
Pluto sighed, "Yes and no, I'd have to go forward in
time to discover the whole truth. But the basics of it is
that planet Namek exploded at the exact same moment The
Princess' powers went rogue. There may have been another
force at work but this would not have happened had the two
major events not occurred at the same moment."
"Another bit of good news is that The Princess does
live. But at the moment I have no way of returning her to
this dimension."
Mamoru's heart soared and shattered all with the same
sentence, Usagi was alive, but she was stuck in a strange
land, all alone.
"To that end," continued Pluto, "I suggest you get to
know each other better and perhaps Sailor Mars should let
him stay at the Shrine for a while."
Mars' jaw dropped. "But that means we have to-"
Pluto cut her off, "I said you can trust him. You
have no reason to doubt my word." And with that the
guardian of time stepped through another portal and left the
senshi alone.
Jupiter sighed reluctantly; "Well we might as well
head home. There's no sense staying here. And I have a
hunch Pluto was indicating another attack is to come. We
should probably hold a meeting and finish this then."
The rest of the group nodded agreement and took off
for home leaving Sailor Mars and Goku in the park.
Mars turned to Goku, "Looks like you're staying with
me for a while." She yawned, "I should probably de-transform
so you can keep up..." she mused to herself.
Goku shrugged, "I doubt you have to worry about me
keeping up."
Mars raised an eyebrow; "Really?" she asked
sarcastically, "Have you ever seen a Senshi run?"
"Have you ever seen a Seijan?" retorted Goku.
The two stood there staring at each other for a few
moments until Mars suddenly took off on a whim and Goku tore
after her.
The two raced towards the shrine, Goku could have
outdistanced her fairly easily, but first off he didn't know
the way, and of course his muscles were still stiff from
recovery; but he had to admit, she was fast.

And so days turned into weeks, and the senshi finally
softened up to Goku and started having fun again. Even
though they all felt the emptiness where Usagi's laughter
should have been and prayed for her every night and tried to
find out ways to bring her back. And the Tsukino's were so
incredibly worried, for all they knew Usagi was could have
been dead. They managed to cheer up eventually but they
were also ready for when any attack might come.
And back on Namek Usagi grew closer to the strange
people she met and met some knew ones. She longed to go
back home and wondered how she would ever accomplish this.
The people of this Earth tried to help her, but they had no
idea where to begin. Usagi's fears grew as she realized
that she couldn't transform, her locket shattered into a
million pieces. If trouble came she didn't know what she'd
do.

Next Time: Usagi's spirits are heightened when she receives
a visit from an old friend. But she is almost immediately
put to the test when a local bank is held up her impulse to
help the innocent kicks in.
