Tears of Light: Prologue

Welcome!  This story is the sequel to my story "Love and 
Justice Forever"  you don't have to read that story though.
  The prologue and part one will hopefully clear up any 
confusion as well as the read-me.  Ami gives a nice speech 
in part one that describes what has happened so all should 
be well.

If you did read L&J this is the exact same as the Epilogue.

NOTE: Nutagi was "Love and Justice Forever"'s main enemy.  
She is also Usagi's aunt from the Silver Millennium, and 
essentially a body-snatcher.  She's in one of her underling's 
bodies right now, and has been trying to steal Usagi's.

NOTE2:  The DBZ timeline is from when planet Namek explodes.

NOTE3:  The outers *will* be in this, but not too much, I'm 
having trouble writing them at the moment.  And if they do 
appear they will have manga personalities.  Thanks.

	As Nutagi edged closer Moon could hear her insane 
laughter.  She could feel what would happen if she lost 
here.  And all her thoughts pointed her in one 
direction.  
She knew it was dangerous but it was her only chance 
left.
	With all the strength in her being Usagi gathered 
her power inside of her.  And when the time was right 
she hurled everything she had at Nutagi!  Her power flew 
towards the beast but it also started cascading out of 
control.  She tried to cut it off to stop whatever chain 
reaction she had started but her power was out of 
control.  She let out a scream of fear physically and 
mentally.  But whatever reply she might have received 
was only a whisper on the wind as the bright light 
enveloped everything.

	In a parallel universe a man named Goku was 
struggling to escape a dying planet.  He had just 
defeated an evil man named Frieza and was alone with no 
way out on a planet about to explode.  He had only 
seconds left and had run out of ideas.  Before he could 
even think that he was doomed the planet exploded in a 
blast of light; at the exact same time that Usagi's 
power lost control.

	And something happened, something unprecedented 
and unexpected.  As the two simultaneous explosions 
occurred a rift in time and space appeared, and two 
special lives changed.

	Mamoru shielded his eyes from the explosion of 
light, he could feel Usagi's panic and tried desperately 
to help.  To no avail.  But now something else was 
wrong, he could feel it she was fading.  Usagi was 
disappearing in soul.  Getting farther and farther away.  
She was still alive but Mamoru was having trouble 
feeling her.

	The light dimmed and Nutagi's ashes fell to the 
ground and floated away on the breezes.  There was a 
thud behind the group but no one heard it.  Sailor Moon 
floated above them no longer.  Everyone was in shock, 
and the only thing keeping him from exploding was the 
feeling that she still lived.  He grasped that feeling 
with all the power he had.  But was knocked back to his 
senses with Mars' heart-crushing scream
	"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
	The world was spiraling out of control, and a 
small groan came from behind the group.  This time they 
all heard and the sight was shocking.  A strange man lay 
on the ground, topless, in obvious pain.  He sat up 
slowly and looked at the curious and heart-stricken eyes 
staring at him.
	"Where am I?" he asked.

	Usagi felt Nutagi die and her heart ached even 
though the woman was evil.  When suddenly she felt 
herself being pulled away, away from her friends, away 
from Mamoru.  She fought against it valiantly but it was 
just too strong and as she was being pulled she felt 
herself fade back into her school uniform that she had 
been wearing before the attack by Hestia.  It seemed so 
long ago already.
 And then she was falling.  She fell for what seemed like ages 
but was only seconds as her stomach churned, and then there was light.

	Gohan sat on the grass of the peaceful meadow 
against a tree.  Piccolo standing near by.  His father 
had not found a ship in time.  He was dead, Goku was 
dead.  No he couldn't be.  There was that feeling, that 
feeling that he was still alive.  But so faint it wasn't 
much of an assurance.  But at least a little one.

	Vegeta sat against another tree nearby a grin 
plastered on his face.  Frieza was dead, and Kakorott 
was as good as dead.  He was the supreme power now!  But 
why did he feel wrong somehow, it could be that he cared 
about Kakorott?  No way!  No how!
	He was about to stand to go blow up some trees in 
frustration when he heard a scream above him.  He looked 
up just in time to have a strange blond girl fall into 
his lap.
	Usagi landed roughly but when she saw the 
expression on the face of the man she had landed on she 
leapt out of his lap in fear.  The, short, man stood up 
and looked like he was going to hurt her when she backed 
into someone else.  Her body went ridged as she slowly 
turned to face this other person.  He was a strange 
green persona with tiny antenna.  Usagi's reflex was to 
transform as the man looked like a youma, but he didn't 
look too threatening.  Either way it was too much for 
the exhausted and scared blond as she passed out and let 
the blackness take her.
