Inu Yasha, The Reincarnation of Midoriko?

Well, I guess there is no question about it, NightRain has submitted the ninetieth review.

Pardon me if this chapter is too short for your liking, but my Epstein Barr is flaring up an I’m having trouble staying awake. I will say that as soon as this story reaches it’s one hundredth review, I will most definitely do something special for it. So, here is the chapter.

Chapter 17

Darkness crept into every corner of the land, but it was halted by a feral howl that seemed

to come from everywhere, yet nowhere all at once. Kagome merely felt a slight wind as she was snatched from her sleeping bag. Without opening her eyes she said the first thing that came to her.

"Kouga, don’t do this. I will never be more than your friend." This caused a low, menacing growl to reverberate in her head. She opened her eyes and let them adjust to the lack of light. In all of the inky darkness, she was only able to make out the reflection of glowing red eyes against silvery-white hair. She gasped, from looking at those eyes, she knew there was no longer any control, and that soon, he would be nothing more than a vacuous shard sucking hole.

I said it was short, sorry if you didn’t believe me. I had to get this in there, but like I said, something big is about to happen. This time I am waiting for my reviews to reach one hundred, not because I’m refusing to write or anything, it’s just that they are already so close that I might as well. kyanos - Thank you for your warning, I will do my best. I have had an editor say the same of my original fiction. I will take the blame for those mistakes, since my editor has been behind in her job lately, and I’m basically posting as soon as I finish typing. I’ll do my best to keep an eye out for it. I like any constructive criticism that I can receive. As far as Inu Yasha goes I didn’t plan on being quite so graphic, but what they way it is accomplished should be rather interesting.

NightRain - Wow! You’re going to college? I start in the fall. Where are you going? Well, it seems that you were right about Midoriko.
