Yippee! Now for that boring part of the story everyone tries to just
skip right past. That's right. Its the disclaimer. Because I
know none of
this stupid legalese printed I'll just say that Buena Vista TV and Disney
really own the show we all love Gargoyles. However for a twist I just
wanna
say that someone in Nippon Koku owns the crossover "guests."
Thank-you Ninane, Beth Maza, Morgan Kollin (Iron Klaw), Goddess,
Zephyrus, Blaqthourne, Jake, Hotishi Doi(I don't know how to spell it okay),
Cori (Lita), and Merlin Missy (We've never met. But if you could do the
crossover(s) you did and no one laugh at you I soon screwed up the courage
to try this.)
For those who don't get any of the SM. related stuff please search for
a Web Page called Castle in the Sky. Or any SM. fan page. Trust me
you'll
like it then.
I have E-mail but frequent the Gargoyles Chat Room through Station
Eight. I go by Wanderer or Walter there. If you don't see me leave a
message with Blaqthourne, Jake, Beth, Ninane, or Zephyrus (write those names
down please!)
The Meeting of the Guardians
by Walter Hutchinson
The hands of an ancient being caressed the sides of a black orb slowly
and meaningfully. He wasn't in any mood to be called (even remotely)
peaceful. He was into purely bitter contemplation. His name, to his new
flunkies, was the Wiseman, and his reasons for this were understandable.
The Queen of Crystal Tokyo was Sailor Moon. Unfortunately, Sailor Moon
protected "the Rabbit," the one who had the Emperium Silver Crystal.
Without it in his hands Crystal Tokyo would never fall. The Wiseman
seethed
in anger. This was becoming more of a nuisance than ever. He had
only
decided to come to the past to get the "The Rabbit" and her powers. Then
he
could use her to destroy the future utopia, Crystal Tokyo. It should have
been easy. "The Rabbit" could barely recognize or control her powers.
Still Areubis, Prisma, Birdie, Aviary, and Katsie had been completely
incompetent and some their bone-headed schemes would only end in helping the
Future Queen discover the full plot of his true master, The Death Phantom.
The Wiseman needed to find a way to finish these Sailor Scouts
quickly, or "The Rabbit" would get away. But that would require more
power,
information resources, competent subject's, etc.
Areubis entered the crystal, black, and mirror filled chamber. Quite
the suck-up he played his role like an actor.
"Oh, Wiseman," he began, "I have come with a plan to capture Crystal
Tokyo and "The Rabbit" by. . ."
"Spare me the melodramatics, Areubis!" the ancient evil demi-god
interrupted, "Just yesterday you could have taken the girl but had to go
dueling with that Tuxedo Mask. Then you went and made a speech about the
future. Maybe I should report back to base in 3000 AD and bring in the
real
warriors." At this Areubis' pride got wounded, even more.
"It's those Sailor Scouts. They seem to. . ." he began.
"I wish no violins Areubis. . .WAIT! What is this? No, it cannot be,"
the Wiseman said as he sensed something near the vicinity of the city below.
He laughed menacingly.
"Areubis, gather the Four Sisters, we need to prepare for some
guests!"
The meeting was called, and all of the servants were at the "lobby" of
the spaceship. The place was completely normal. The star image on
the
floor was still glowing. And to mirrors still only reflected what
the
agents wished to see. The cliché supervillian hideout.
"Hmmph," said Prisma, "I was getting a facial, this better be worth
it!" It showed she was ill prepared. She was wearing a some green
towels
over her head and body with some kiwi in her eyes.
"We could wait a century 'til you got anywhere near decent, Prisma,"
chirped Birdie, "But the Wiseman has some important information."
"QUIET!" Areubis roared. He was wishing he'd gotten a better mannered
crew, but they were the best agents and very powerful. Just a bunch of
failures when it came to catching rabbits.
The Wiseman made his usual entrance through the floor, his face under
his cowl as normal, but somehow he seemed noticeably excited.
"Wonderful," he yelled, "This is it. This will make up for all of
your failures. On the waters of Avalon ride four influential mortals.
Find
them, and bring them and their possessions to me AT ALL COSTS!"

Detective Elisa Maza woke up. Great! Now she was falling asleep
at
the rudder. It was in the day and her friends would have to depend on her
not to end up crashing into. . .maybe the Statue of Liberty.
"Yeah, right! Chances are this is Britain, and we have to free some
leprechauns. What I'd give for some familiar ground and a cup of coffee.
Just to see home, back where there's a bare minimum of magic. There
there's
only the occasional megalomaniac billionaire's wife werewolfing on
Halloween. At least, at Halloween you expect something weird. I
wouldn't
mind even trying to track down the Illuminati with Matt. Hope he got my
message back in Scotland." the detective rambled. She knew no one was
there
listening, but she needed to say these things out loud. Besides after
fighting a giant spider, The Banshee, and some immortal one-eyed jerk she
didn't care how crazy she looked.
Poor Elisa was probably pulling worse shifts than any New York cop,
ever. The mists were clearing but only enough to make out a. . . TEMPLE
the
kind in the late, late, late, showings of those badly dubbed foreign flicks.
So was this was somewhere in the Orient. . .hmm
(I am using a combination of the North American version of Sailor Moon and the
original.)
Hino Rei received a premonition (many Asian countries put names
"backwards" i.e. Hutchinson Walter instead of Walter Hutchinson). Danger
was approaching and it was in the temple's pond. She couldn't believe how
it got so close without her noticing before. It had the stink of another
world that was too strong not for her to notice. She was losing her touch,
and didn't like it. She prepared her Shinto anti-evil sign (Mars Fireball
Charge!) and went to the pond.
There was a woman, definitely a gaiku (its Japanese, I hope, suppose
to mean foreigner but in a very negative sense), with three statues in some
little boat. How could that boat bare at least one ton and not bust.
They
must be agents of the Nega-Moon. She made her prayer and flung it at the
lady.
Elisa turn to see an Asian girl dressed in a gee with a long red
dress. She seemed to be praying with some strip of paper. The girl
flung
it. Elisa duck instinctively. After all she had been through she
wasn't
taking anything for face value. She pulled her gun and pointed at the
girl.
Rei knew what the lady held. This object transcended all countries.
It was a gun. The lady looked like a marksmen. Man, where was that
couch-
potato Serena, she thought, I need her whining to distract the enemy. Oh,
well Grandpa trained me well in the martial arts. She spun on her left
toes, while sticking out her right leg. She went for a mastered high kick.
"Keee-ya," cried the weird girl whirling for the misplaced cop. Elisa
was startled and pulled the trigger. *Click*, *Click*, *Click*.
Drat! Now
the kid knew she was out of bullets. After all this time she had finally
realized her gun had been empty since the beach attack by the Archmage.
But, still the girl couldn't have known that until she blew it. But for
some reason the girl stopped a few feet short in the pond. The Asian was
wet to the knee but seemed stunned by something else.
_______________________
Yes she did. Check out "Avalon" part 2
Rei just blinked then scanned her left and right. What, just an empty
gun. NO WAY! No droids, no super attacks, no bombs. Just
nothing.
Whoever this lady was she wasn't from the Nega-Moon. Those people were too
smart to send someone here that ill prepared. No one could be that. . .
* * *
"Stupid Algebra test!" yelled Serena, "They can't expect me to do math
with no numbers its insane. And now Luna calls another early meeting.
UGH!
I just hope I don't run into. . ." Tsukino Serena was late and running
down
the street to the Sacred Cherry Hill Temple. She was dressed in her
uniform, plus her crystal brooch, of course. She had her book bag at her
shoulder. She was so busy talking she didn't notice a pink-hared trouble-
maker with a cat-shaped ball nearby.
"Hi, Usagi," said Reeny, "What you do? Fail another test and
trying
to dump it in the temple pond." Reeny loved teasing Serena and calling her
Usagi, her "pet" name. Since Serena loved bunnies and moons the name
Tsukino Usagi fit her like a glove (this means rabbit of the moon, Japanese
think of the moon as the fur of a rabbit, like our man on the moon.
Scram, Chiba-Usa," roared Serena making a fist at the strange girl, "I
need to study at Rei's so beat it." Reeny just pulled down her eyelid and
stuck out her tongue at Serena (this is like flicking up your middle finger
in Japan, I think).
"Ditz Queen!" the girl said running off in the other direction. Reeny
had told Serena never to call her Small Lady ever.
* * *
"Well," said Elisa. She had just fed the girls something so spurious
that the only thing more incredulous would be the truth. These girls
weren't all that mean its just that, well, they were kinda spaced-out.
Especially the kid with those long, long, ponytails and the one in the gee.
Still they had fed her and hadn't called the police. Which was good under
the circumstances, but how was she going to protect the gargoyles.
Well, at least she knew something she was back in Japan, she had just
dropped into a Shinto temple's pond; it might even be sacred, most of them
could speak English; but the light blond girl and the blue-head knew it very
well. She was still adjusting to the fact that only one of these girls
really looked Japanese to her. I mean blue and blond hair, for crying out
loud, she thought.
The girls seemed curious about if she'd run into any "uncanny
sisters." If that was what she thought it was, then those fey witches were
at it again. Still the girls had mentioned four of them. Maybe, they
had
brought The Banshee with them. Wonderful, why did Goliath always let those
creeps go on as they please. The Magus had died binding the Three.
Why
just let them go to the wind? She mentally sighed the answer, because it
wouldn't be hero like.
"Listen, lady. I have visions so don't lie. Who are you with,"
the
raven-head snapped.
"Just let me make a phone call," Elisa puffed at the youth's
impudence. This girl had a chip on her shoulder the size of New York.
She
needed to try to phone Matt or maybe even the Xanatoses. They could send a
private air vehicle and she wanted out. She still wondered why hadn't she
gone with Beth and Dad. From Arizona, New York was at least a thousand
miles closer than Japan.
"Lighten, up, buzzard," Serena chided Rei, then to Elisa, "Yes,
telephone home, bye Maza." The gaijin left hurriedly.
"Follow, her," said Rei, "She might be hiding a droid in the boat I
showed you!"
"Give it up, Rei," "Mako" said loudly, "the lady is just confused.
Besides you received bad visions before. So what if she has bad travel
plans."
"I do calculate an eighty-five percent chance Rei is correct," Ami
interrupted, "But we know she isn't part of the Negaverse. I used my mini-
data computer on her and found she has traces of dimensional displacement.
Unfortunately, I don't know which dimension."
"Hmm," said Minako, "I remember something about the design I saw on
her boat. From when I was Sailor V in England. I think its related
to a
tale about some kind of kappa-samurai that disguised themselves as stone at
day. One day they were betrayed and stayed stone. It was big news
since it
was bought by this maniac billionaire two years ago. The guy in the boat
looks like one of the statues. And the girl has the sign of the castle
around her waist. It was a very odd legend and only these three old
triplets who told me knew it." She thought to herself how the ladies and
their cabin had disappeared the day after they had told the story. Maybe
they was trying to warn her. Naw!
"Well," said Serena, "Maybe she is running away from her stone-hearted
boyfriend who used to save her from falling out of buildings and rescued her
from dangerous monsters. . .WAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The poor heart-broken teen was
at it again. Ami grabbed Artemis and left. Meanwhile, Rei and Serena
started arguing.
"Grandpa" Hino was up to no good. When he saw the pretty lady in the
red jacket he had decided to see if she liked older men. His throbbing
head
was a definite answer. She was a lady with a bite. Maybe he better
have
Yuuchiiro soften her up.
He called, "CHAD! Get your lazy butt out here now." The young
aspiring rock-star and Shinto priest was there in a flash.
"Chad, why don't you sing the lady a song?" Grandpa cajoled?
"Cuz, you told me if I did that to any visitors you'd kill me,"
Yuuchiiro "Chad" stated very flushed and excited. He loved to sing even
though he knew he needed practice.
"Okay, well, maybe just this once and make sure not to shatter any
glass," said Grandpa.
"Oh thank-you oh wise, great, old master," Chad said kissing the old
dwarf's feet.
"OLD! Whaddya mean I'm just as virilous as ever," yelled Grandpa.
"That, too, sir. But, don't you mean vigorous," Chad said facing the
ground trying to hide his sweating face.
"Just go!" Grandpa erupted. Man, thought Yuuchiiro, this is one
deadly family. A beautiful snapping crab to the left and an unpredictable
volcano everywhere else. He went dreamy thinking of Rei, his one true
love.
He'd endured this discipleship for her and was willing to do more. After
he
sung to the foreign lady about the setting sun she was running at top speed.
He hoped it was an American cultural thing.
Lord, I'm sorry but not even Sevarius deserves this torture, thought
Maza. Please go away, she thought not daring to slow down to talk.
If she
timed it right. Yes, the ragged bum was singing his fourth chorus of
"About
the Setting Sun" when the stone cracked.
Yuuchiiro noticed and choked down his voice. Rei had said his singing
would wake the dead but that statue seemed to be cracking and moving toward
him.
"AUUGH!" he screamed running at top speed toward the Temple.
Goliath bust out along with Angela and Bronx. Bronx shook off some
crows and started to chase them. Goliath and Angela didn't notice.
They
were being filled in by Elisa.
"Hmm," Goliath pondered, "Since this is a sacred place maybe we can
trust them. Perhaps a proper introduction came be made."
"Hey!" said Angela, "Where's Bronx?"
"Yuuchiiro," said "Mako", "You think that the statues in the gaijin's
boat hated your singing." They were still in Rei's room when the trembling
"Chad" rocketed inside.
"Who wouldn't," mumbled Rei, "Maybe you were just imagining things.
Let's go apologize to her for the inconvenience." But, I bet I was right,
she thought, maybe they are vampires or something.
Then some huge beast came crashing through the walls into Rei's room.
The girls ran off through the other one.
"Thank goodness all these walls are detachable," said Minako, "We
gotta stop this thing. Better transform." But it wasn't chasing
them. Rei
noticed it had some black feathers in its mouth. Oh no! the crows, she
thought. But they hovered above the beast. Then they noticed
Yuuchiiro was
singing to it and feeding it their snacks.
"See Rei, my singing is good," said Yuuchiiro.
"Where have you been Bronx," said an English-speaking tall purple,
black hared woman. She had a tail, cape, and pointed ears. "We've
been
looking for you, come here you bad dog," she continued. Yuuchiiro and the
girls froze with their jaws open. Then Grandpa came in.
* * *
"Ugh, we searched ever body of water in town except for the pond at
the temple," whined Katsie, "Why don't we come back in the day, them we
won't have to worry as much." She and Aviary were on the street near
Oasis?
"What, can't handle some thousand-year old rain gutters, sister,"
teased Aviary, "Oh that's right you afraid the those Dallas Cowboy
Cheerleader rejects will show up. Don't worry I will protect you from the
little girls."
"You should talk. You didn't even try to face Sailor Venus, and you
had Prisma with you. Ha, at least I tried," Katsie retorted.
"Stop wasting time," Areubis shouted. His image now appeared in a one
of the windows, "Find those four or we will be executed." Areubis had
heard
the Wiseman's description of the leader of the four. Maybe he would have
some trophies out of this assignment.
* * *
The great leader of protectors from one thousand years ago began his
legacy.
"I was once without a name. I was a protector. You humans called
us
Gargoyles. We have always served your people. Protecting and
nourishing
your lives and safety. We are all around the world. I once thought
myself
to be alone. Now, I know that is not true," he began. This was
building up
too much suspense for the girls. Elisa was a little tired, but she enjoyed
Goliath's simple narrations. In another time and place he may have been a
storyteller, or one of the voice artists like James Earl Jones. Anyway he
was past his purpose of living and into the juicy part.
"My clan, my old clan, once helped protect the Castle, Wyvern, for
many generations. In my generation we aided the Prince Malcolm, and his
later his niece, the spiteful Princess Katherine. Before, when the Prince
was wed I chose my mate. We were in love greatly. I was appointed
second
and then leader by my mentor. I decided to choose my love as my second-in-
command, I called her My Angel of the Night. After the Prince left only
one
human seemed to trust us, the Captain of the Guard."
Rei seemed at this point to be reliving it all, the entire scene.
Amazing, Elisa thought surprised, such mystic wisdom displayed by the girl
who less than an hour ago nearly slapped me. Well, it takes all kinds.
Now
let's see he's onto the night of betrayal.
"I returned from the false lead to find the castle in ruins. Fire
burned unchecked. Stone broken everywhere. I saw that the perch of
my love
was covered with rubble. I was shocked. I howled to the night.
I was
consumed with rage. The three reckless hatchlings emerged from the
rookery.
They said they only knew of their survival."
"The youths, my mentor, and I gave chase until we found the cave of
the Vikings. They had thought we had been smashed. The Vikings'
leader,
Hakon fear for his life, had taken the Princess Katherine to throw her off a
cliff. I soared to her rescue and discovered that the Captain was our
betrayer. I tried to take revenge, but I fell short and they died by
accident. When I returned for the rest of my clan I found out they had
been
enchanted by the Magus."
"Thinking the Princess dead he had cried in grief that he would do the
next best thing to destroying them. I found them stone by night.
That was
a horror. It must have been magic. The Magus confirmed my suspicion
seconds before the Princess emerged from behind my person. Magus soon
realized his mistake and by sheer coincidence, Hakon had burned the only
cure."
What, happens next?" Makoto expelled. She was enjoying this monster's
. .uhm. . .man's history. She felt something in common. The felling
of
camaraderie. Both had lost their lives, loves, and homes hundreds of years
ago. At least he had survived that without dying. Twice. Kino
rub her
left upper chest. It ached in memory of Metallia's fatal wounding.
She had
to admit the princesses were different but one could wonder. Did that
witch
love her.
"I took my friends to the perches of honor of the forefront buttresses
of the castle," Goliath's heavy hung voice put the sludge of depression on
all (Maza [author's note: Elisa is sleepy and cantankerous in this version
in response to all the top ten lists and jokes about Avalon travel and her
sleep patterns. In a odd result one friend and I quote {I hate swearing}
"You made Elisa seem really *censored*-y in this one. . .even when loosing
her memories she never got this mad. . .maybe you should tone it down" for
all those sharing similar impressions I note that many took these reins
before I did. Don't flame me saying I am being racist, chauvinist, or in
other words mean to Detective Maza. I really try to make her seemed pushed
and dedicated so bare with it] nearly slammed her head to the boarded floor.
*CENSORED* she was going to fall asleep at this dreary monotone) I felt
sorrow. I knew they could never be the warriors they deserved to be.
But
maybe they could awaken. 'When the castle rose above the clouds' as the
foolish magic-user had said. If so. If none lived here now.
Then I would
live to see my remaining clan awaken. I volunteered for the spell."
Serena held her hand out and looked down at the Star Locket. Man,
this guy made her problems seem like nothing. He was responsible for the
extinction of his clan. Well, in his way of thinking he was. She
opened
the locket and heard the music play. Boy, how had he done it without the
aid of treasures and ghosts, and how had he come back? Mina had said the
castle was bought by Xanatos. So that means. . .he's on some mission for
him? Uh-oh she'd missed the part of the gargs waking up on a New York
skyscraper. Boy this reminded her of one favorite comics of. . .
". . .She was the truest betrayer. How could she. I had trusted
respected and loved her. Now this. She aimed and shot at me.
No remorse
at all. None. I was pained. At the last moment Elisa saved us
and the
building fell with her and Demona. I caught Elisa and watched her fall.
I
in rage nearly killed Xanatos but left him to justice."
"Xanatos was charged and convicted of receiving stolen property. His
major domo ran the castle. We had more adventures. The one called
Brooklyn
became a traitor and redeemed. Lex was deceived and nearly killed.
Broadway shot Elisa.
Luna the black cat in Serena's lap gasped. These people were serious
and most definitely human-like. She had a bad feeling about this, though.
From the vibes she was receiving, Goliath wasn't a droid, cardian, or youma.
But what was he, this defender of the night shtick didn't cut it for her.
She hoped the girls weren't buying in as well as Usagi. They needed to be
on their guard for the next threat. It was only a matter of time before
The
Negaverse attacked again.
"When we moved more adventures came. I learned of MacBeth and
Demona's immortality and of the survival of my old clan's eggs on Avalon.
It was a sight worth waiting for but it was darkened by the arrival the
Archmage and the Three Weird Sisters.
"Don't you mean Four!" all of the resident females screamed. They
shut their mouths. The spell of history broken.
Serena gained composure first and stated, "We assumed you knew some
uhm acquaintances of ours. Please continue."
Goliath blinked cluelessly.
Then Mina translated Serena's statement. The pony-tailed teen girl
sweated enormous drops as she sat facing the floor. Goliath continued.
"After his defeat we took the Eye of Odin and the Phoenix Gate, but
lost the Grimorum and the Archmage was killed. Before leaving we heard
from
the Guardian of the Eggs, Tom tell us, 'Avalon doesn't take you where you
want to go, but where you need to be.' Since that moment we have revived
old heroes, aided the rainforest, fought demi-gods, and met aliens. Each
time we found we were needed."
"So you see," concluded Goliath, "We must find what we were sent here
for. Do you know how we can help?" Goliath had told him the whole
story,
but the girls still seemed too stunned to believe it.
"So that explains the reason I sensed something of another world.
Avalon is very strong with magic so it sticks to you forever probably.
Maybe, you're here to help Serena and Darien," Rei thought aloud. Everyone
was shushing at her and motioning to stop. She nodded no and said, "Uh-uh
they trust us. So we trust them."
"Well, yah, see. We aren't exactly just any variety of school girls.
You see, we are, uhm, super heroes," Rei started to explain with her fingers
to her chin. One hand twisted her ankle-length dress as she thought how to
continue this. Serena chose that time to interrupt.
"Actually, I'M the beautiful superheroine, they're just the
assistants," the long ponytailed girl quipped. She waved her hand, all
pish-poshy to Rei's face.
"Yah see, I'M their leader, I bust the baddies for them after they
soften them up. Only I can do it. They can smash and crash and blast
and
strike. . .OW!" Serena was cut off as Rei showed her normal version of a
strike, to Tsukino's face.
"Before I was so rudely interrupted by the squawk of the peacock, I
was mentioning we are not exactly human either. You see. We are old
beings
of a civilization older than yours. It battle forces so great they
destroyed our homelands and made them barren and inhospitable."
Rei softened her expression and teared quite a bit as she looked
through the ceiling, "Look at it, my displaced guardians. The moon.
That
was the home of an empire of amazing peace and party and power. On the
throne sat Queen Serenity. She was once the most powerful being ever.
She
ruled through her heart and the power of . . ." Rei was about to tell but
held back.
"Cat got your tongue old lady.(here Luna gave an indignant meow!) Let
the princess tell it. That's right I'm the princess. Serenity's
daughter.
She used her Emperium Silver Crystal, the key to the universe, to establish
the Silver Millennia. I was gonna inherit it all, until that sleaze queen
Beryl attacked," Serena smirked to Rei sticking out her tongue. Luna kept
her head to the ground her back glistening in sweat drops. Serena then
realized something.
"Uhm, Mina why don't you translate for me," she said directing her
mouth to the light blonde's ear. Mina complied and began to tell the
Travelers what happened.
"Anyway there were these respected princesses on other planets. They
joined with the Moon Kingdom in a wicked cool alliance. But Earth was left
out since the people were said to be too violent and unstable. Well a
sorceress who was adept in evil Negaverse magic roused the people and
enslaved them. I was seeing the Prince of earth, Endymion and she attacked
my kingdom, with his friends. He couldn't join the fight outright or my
mother's troops would execute him. So he put on a mask to deceive the
people to believing he was one of the Lunarian troops. Before he went to
battle we danced one last time and to ensure his return I gave him my most
prized possession, this locket." Serena had be waving her hands wildly as
to direct the entire scene. Rei had barely dodged a swipe that had been
flipped over and ruined.
When mentioned she had revealed her star locket wrapped around her
neck. She smiled getting a soft expression and then finally choked on her
tears. Unable to continue Mina took over.
"Her power was so great she killed the senshi, soldiers who were to
protect them we were those soldiers. Those were all of us besides Serena.
We were princesses of different planets that had dedicated our lives to
protect the princess and had fallen at the power of Empress Mettallia, the
Negaforce. Before all was loss Queen Serenity used the crystal to seal us
all inside of it and send us to the future in new lives. These lives on
earth would allow us to be free but the Negaverse's Dark Kingdom was bound
to try again. They too were sent to the future. As preparation she
sent us
two guardians, cats, named Luna and Artemis.
"Yeah," Rei said holding her composure, barely, "They came to us and
awoke our powers. They gave us transformation sticks and we used them to
blast away the evil Negaverse's generals. Using the names and powers given
by our old homes we became the Bijuisho Sailor Senshi. We all had powers
of
elements and magic. Sailor Moon's," she said giving a burning glare to the
crybaby Serena, "powers have proven to be the most dependable as she can
almost always defeat our enemy. Still she is a clod and very easy to break
down. But during that course a man named Tuxedo Kamen (Mina translated it
as mask) came." Rei held her eyes tighter, Darien he wasn't seeing Serena
but did that mean he didn't love her or did he love someone else.
Looking them in their faces Rei mentioned how he had extraordinary
though unique abilities. Somehow he threw roses that were endued with
magic
powers that canceled the negaforce and other powers. He always appeared in
time to save them when needed.
"He's saved all of our lives and when it turned out he was a man we
all knew. That I had known we were shocked. Not only that but he was
the
renewed Prince Endymion who had died in the battle against Beryl. Finding
this out Beryl snatched him away and brain washed him to be evil. We had
to
fight him. Eventually he and the last general were rivals. Kunzite
(Mina
here was at a lost for words. Kunzite jade was called Malachite in English
but wasn't sure what to say and said both) was killed and Endymion was
wounded. Well we knew it was time and made a full assault. We all
went
against the best the Dark Kingdom had left to offer."
"One by one they picked us off," Rei's voice conveyed the sorrow and
anguish Goliath's had moments ago only worse. She had died and remembered
every second of it. Goliath was moved.
"Until only Serena was left to fight. At last Beryl took her away to
her chambers and showed she controlled Endymion. Before he struck a blow
to
kill his love she revealed her locket. It's power of love restored his
mind
and he became free. Using the recovered crystal Sailor Moon battled Beryl.
Before she nearly caved in she summoned our spirits to aid her and we
blasted her away for good," Rei look slightly triumphant at this
announcement. Odd that she also seemed sad.
"After that we all again were reborn into our 'normal' lives just
school girls until a plot became evident, Beryl had sent a signal to an
alien race to come to Earth for energy. Luna then did what she had to and
restored our memories. The pair Earl and Ann (pronounced Ail and Enn) were
the aliens and nearly destroyed our world by feeding the doom tree too much
stolen energy. Before killing everything in the city the tree came to its
senses and told us it was a being of good weakened to a coma like state by a
war caused by evil.
"It eventually told us all of its origin and people. They were kind
of variances of it. They drew energy from the tree to live and were all
peaceful. Until an evil force convinced them they should fight to be more
powerful," Rei said a tear running down her face. Elisa couldn't help but
note this girl was definitely too emotional for the loss of a people she
didn't know. Could it be she was sadden by that guy Endymion. She'd
have
to remember to ask later.
Lita listened halfhearted to how the travelers reacted to the coming
of Chibi-Usa and of the Nega-Moon agents. She looked to Angela and smiled.
Angela smiled back and leaned to her.
Lita heard her whisper something, "Why are you staring at my father
like that. Its like you are seeing a fit mate."
"Drat!" thought Lita as a child with her hand in the cookie jar and
spoke softly to the gir...uhm youma. . .woman. Yes, Angela was much older
and quite distinguished she was a woman to her standards.
"He reminds me of my. . .uhm sempai. He is very tall and strong, uhm,
I'd better be quiet," Lita sheepishly blushed and backed off, hoping her
English was good enough. The gargoyle and her, they had some things in
common, their builds, their warrior hearts and their abandonment. She had
lost her family in a crash. Though she had always felt sorry for them, but
deep down, like every child abandoned had been, she was angry with them.
Why had they left her, they said they'd come back, but they hadn't. Lita
wasn't sure if the woman knew what that was like or losing her only love
but. . .
________________________________________________________
Heavy running gag with Lita. Sempai literally is uperclassman but we all
know what it really means.
Lita looked to Angela's eyes and for once language meant nothing. It
was understood. Lita knew what it was like to be abandoned, picked up,
rejected, and accepted. Not necessarily in that order but one with the one
with the stubborn wisdom of the trees knew Angela was a friend.
After Rei was done telling of yesterday's battle she looked to her
montage of guests.
The Travelers believed all of it immediately.
"After all we've been through this almost makes since," snickered
Elisa, "So are you related to Oberon."
"Not that we know of, but maybe that's where Reeny is from?" said
Lita.
"No it doesn't make sense, Titania couldn't be in trouble. Besides
the Nega-Moon said they were after Crystal Tokyo not Avalon," said Serena.
"Perhaps he believes that their is no love between you, now. It has
been thousands of years. So long in hate and loneliness, , ," the great
Goliath said. The conviction and deep thought in his voice was
unmistakable. He saw another love in place of Serena's. He saw her.
How
she had changed in her years as stone. Only as the stone in heart not
body.
He wondered how she had survived, and what could make her so bitter. He
wondered if he would fail the only remains of his Angel of the Night.
"He still cares," said Luna, the black cat guardian, in her tutor
voice, "Its just he acts so cold to her. Its not normal, what is happening
to him. I spoke with him. He seemed to act as if it were better to
stay
away from her. I can't tell what it is. Perhaps its some trick of
Reeny's,
but its too cruel. Maybe he'll come around when the time is right."
"So you guys can transform into planet pretty sailors? And this guy
throws roses at people to save you if you mess up. You also were once
soldiers who protected the Princess from harm. You failed and this evil
Queen won. Then your mom sent you to the future to try again, and you
succeeded. You lost your memories, found them, and now are fighting some
strange men from the future," Angela said in one enormous breath. "I don't
understand. Why does everyone want to attack the princess, I mean her
kingdom's smashed. What's so important about her."
"Uhh-hmm," Artemis said, "This is all very interesting, but
unfortunately. . ."
"Artemis!" said Minako, "I thought you left with Ami, and. . ." She
then turned to kid her guardian and
GASP! He looked like he was on his last leg.(And that says alot for
someone with four of them)
Sailor Mercury hadn't been doing well. She'd seen two figures.
One
clad in a golden breastplate and red miniskirt. The other had a pink cat-
suit with an absurdly pointed purple tutu around her waist. It had been
Aviary and Katsie, kidnapping Reeny, of course. Poor Chibia Selena Usagi
they were after "the Rabbit," again. So she'd done the obvious.
Transformed.
______________________________________________________
Ls and Rs are the same in Japaneese. The name is something like Baby
Moon-goddess Rabbit
"Mercury Staar Power, Make-UP!" she'd cried. Her fingernails had
turned blue as her star pen whirled into her hand. She had been surrounded
by her friend, the water. Bubbles and streams had clothed her perfectly
until she was wearing her patented outfit.
It was like her school uniform with blue gogo boots, periwinkle bow,
and a tiara with a smoothed sapphire in the middle. Her astral sign stood
behind her filling her with the power and determination she needed.
Unfortunately she hadn't been able to handle them on her own. Her
power had blinded them long enough to grab Serena's would-be cousin and send
Artemis for help. That's when the real battle began. Aviary had
waited for
this moment to slice at Artemis with her whip. Her sneer complementing the
Black Moon Family Sign on her forehead. It was dark and ominously twisted.
The white cat guardian ran at top speed, but some of Katsie's Darkfire met
him toward the road.
Reeny then commanded her cat ball to float and carry Artemis away.
Katsie had wished to rid herself of the felines.
"One blast and he'll pay for all the times he's ruined my four hour
facials," she'd said. Her body then had danced defying gravity to hold out
her hand, and spurt fire to the pair.
"No!" cried the voice. Only it hadn't been Ami's or Reeny's.
It'd
been Birdie. She'd shot Dark Tidewater to douse the flame enough to let
both the odd servants survive.
"Remember, baggier sister, the plan had been to lure those Travelers
here. Then we'd get the Phoenix Gate and The Eye of Odin from them,"
Birdie
sung in her high and chirpy voice, "We may even get all the Sailor Brats,
and the crystal too. Hahahahahaha-ha!"
Mercury had then realized what she'd done. Artemis was going to help
doom the world. She would try her best to soften them up, but her attacks
were mostly defense or stunning not harmful.
"Meeeercury Ice Bubbles FREEZZZEE!" she screamed. Just as her new
enemy appeared.
"Uggh," grunted the white cat, "It's over. We're doomed. They
got
Mercury and Reeny. OOH! I shouldn't have ran."
"Forget it!" came Tsukino Serena's surprisingly authoritative voice,
"For attacking my best friend and study buddy I will not forgive them. In
the name of friendship I will punish them."
"We transform first then say that, Meatball-Head," Rei grouched.
Serena gasped in embarrassment as sweat drops appeared down her face.
"I know that. Uh, I was just practicing to get it out of my system,"
she said giving everyone a cheesy grin as more sweat came down her face.
Everyone else, including the crows, did a face freeze followed by an even
bigger sweat drop down their faces. The Travellers only adverted there
eyes
to the ceiling
"Nevermind that we gotta help Ami-san," she continued grabbing for the
locket at her chest (causing Goliath to blush), "MOON CRYYSSTTAAAL
POWOWOWER!!!"
"MAARS STAAR POOWER!" screamed Rei spreading her fingers as her nails
became deep red.
"VEEENUS STTAAR POWER!" cried Minako as her fingernails went gold.
"JJUUPITOR STARR POWER!" bellowed the strong Kino Lita "Makoto" called
"Mako." Her fingernails went a strong green of spring leaves.
All together as Tsukino's locket opened to reveal the Emperium Silver
Crystal, "MAKE-UP!"
Serena slowly massaged the crystal's power. It made two angelic wings
simply arise from her back. They became faint, then ribbons, then making
her suit's body Popping out white angel feathers. Her arms bathed each
other in the pristine light to form elbow length white gloves and more
feathers. Her feet, once bare, were wrapped by ribbons. They popped
into
more feathers and boots red with white top outlining and a yellow moon.
Last the ribbons of her suit and the tiara that held the pink gem in the
center covering the golden mark of her birth, a crescent moon. She was a
new thing the Pretty Sailor-Suited Senshi of the Moon.
Rei's transformation was less detailed, but spectacular as it was
simple. Her red Aries signed Star Stick flew to her hands then erupted in
a
gush of flame. Her body was burned. . .No. . .smelted by the power it
revealed her spirit of fire. She was soon clothed similarly to Mercury
only
her skirt, and jewel was red. Her bow was magenta. Her feet donned red
high
heels. Her sign also appeared. It showed her true might and vision.
Sailor Mars had come.
Minako waited. She danced with her power of light and love. The
gold
Minerva star stick released a stream of stars that soon circled and
completed her. The upheaving brilliance of power then became her.
Like the
other Senshi suits in golden orange. She wore golden slip-ons and amber
was
in her crown. Aah My Sailor Venus!
Lita transformed at a medium, yet thunderous pace. Galvanized into
action this transformation was mere formality. She was always with her
power, always Jupiter. This gave her full access to her true nature that
would never be denied. Lightning bolts like none ever seen blasted out of
her green Forbes stick. She was surrounded by the electrical power of
might. She then let it come. With one burst of Supreme Thunder, she
was in
green with a pink bow, green booties, and emerald in her tiara her sign
shown behind her as a coat of arms.
The Travelers couldn't help but stare. Sure they had taken them at
their word, but this was something different altogether. This was, was,
was. . .
Sailor Scouts," they screamed flying into the air like spirits of a
lost good.
"C'mon," said Elisa, she wasn't going to let another impressive light
show distract her, again, "The cat said that girl was eight miles away to
the northeast."
Mizuno Ami was all but dead. The monster that had attacked her had
shattered her resolve. Somehow it made one too depressed to want to live.
Luckily Reeny's temper-tantrum had paralyzed it enough to give Ami a break,
but could she summon the power.
It was so much. And what good would it do? There were just too
many
monsters. There was just too much fighting. And there were always
too many
victims. Oh! TOO MANY VICTIMS!
Thoughts flashed by her suddenly when she realized she was playing
into their trap. Live and pitiful bait was more inspiring then the wounded
or dead kind. She had to do this to save the princess. She needed to
save
her friends.
"Never, ever, hurt my Usagi, or my friends again," she cried, "Mercury
Shiiiining Aaaqua Illuuusion, SPLASH!" A pool of ripples appeared under
Sailor Mercury. She spun like a mad dancer collecting the power of them
and
then splashed it on her opponent. The Freud Droid had failed. It was
smashed into a brick wall. This made it shatter the peculiar jewel in its
optomiscope. Coinciding that event the droid respectively exploded into
dust.
Now it was time for the Scouts to act. Sailor Moon flew down.
She
began her speech. However, Arubeus chose that time to appear.
"Feel this power and wrath, Sailor FAILURE!" he flung his Darkstar
Sparks. They destroyed the ground Sailor Moon stood on, but she had jumped
away in time. This guy was playing for keeps now. He wanted to
finish
yesterday's near complete victory. Would her love come to save her now?
Maybe she had finally pushed him too far to be recalled. She started to
despair.
Uh-oh, thought Mercury as Sailor Moon began to waver in her stance,
That droid's field is still dissipating. It must be playing on her fear of
Darien's sudden coldness. And she doesn't need much coaxing to remember
that right now.
Rei sensed the clinging hopelessness in the street. Well, good thing
that cop prepped me up for this, she thought to herself. She grabbed her
scrolls, pressed them to her forehead, and began her prayer. In a flash of
fire a strange spirit emerged where the papers and priestess once had been.
Then she threw them all around. They hung in midair and one smashed into
Sailor Moon.
"NOO! Not school today. When do we kids get time off?" the ever-
witless Serena screamed, "Huh, what happened?" She saw the paper at her
forehead and realized the answer.
___________________________________________________________
When do Japanese kids get time off. If they go to school so much why is
Usagi so suprised to get up every morning.
"Cool, Mars, this time your constant abuse of my face came in handy.
Now down to business," cried forerunner of the Sailor Senshi. She took her
moon scepter out, "Well, this Mary-Kay company is gonna pay for ruining my
ever shiny spirit. Prepare to be MOON-DUSTED creeps!"
______________
She doesn't have any pockets she just pulls it out of nowhere.
The top jewel of Sailor Moon's scepter glowed as she raised the royal
rod up to the sky. Behind her body was the entire image of her lost home,
the moon. Her atama-odango flew out to the sides of her head. She
pointed
toward her target. Then oddly enough she spun around once. Motioned it as
a
baton for a crescendo, then the crown of her scepter colored her with light.
She spun twice more and stopped. Finally waving the wand back and forth
she
barely contained its power. Red sparkles sprinkled out.
__________________________
Her hair style named by Darien. Odango a desert with cream covered ball
things. Atama is head (I hope)
"MOOOOOOONN," she said waving it from right to left once,
"SCCEEEPTRRRE," she waved it back to the left, those sparkles came again.
Sailor Moon stepped back bracing herself as she pointed the scepter at a
dead zero sighting to her target. It flashed. An entire vertigo of
sparkles rushed out.
"ILLUUMINATION!" she cried as a large yellow fragment of power, shaped
as a crescent moon shot out. It was followed by a blue star on hanging on
its left tip. It convoluted and went straight for it's target.
Areubis's hand holding more Darkstar Sparks.
He had expected a direct hit and soon his plan was blowing up in his
face, need I add literally.
"Clever, but no chance you will escape this. NOW!" cried Areubis just
as the Four Sisters leapt up in the air and threw a net that glowed to each
Senshi's color. They were trapped and their powers were fading. Soon
enough their uniforms would start to fade.
"Excellent work," came one voice. Even Areubis stopped nursing his
blistering hand to face this unexpected presence.
"Wiseman, no that's not possible!" Aviary yelled stunned.
"You have left the ship?!?" Prisma stated in pure shock. The Wiseman
was mysterious and powerful. The fact he would even come with them to the
past even if he didn't actually do anything himself meant the mission they
had was too important to screw up. But, THIS. This meant more was at
stake
here then just Crystal Tokyo, this had to be. . .
"The universe is finally within my and your grasps. Wait, as our
guests come straight to us!" The malicious joy in him couldn't ever be
missed, even by one deaf and blind from birth. This was eternity.
The Travelers tried their best but the Senshi moved too fast. The
temple grounds had a few trees. Also, they didn't know their way around.
They ran on all fours, with Elisa on Bronx's back. They eventually found
the gate of the grounds. Angela looked out and gasped.
"I can't believe how tall these buildings are," she stated, "They look
taller and weirder than any I've ever seen."
"I agree it dwarfs New York in its size and crowds," purred Goliath.
"They need to make-up for less area of land here," Elisa informed,
"This is gonna be a lot harder than I thought previously. Think you can
glide the rest of the way?"
"We shall try our best to do so. Unfortunately, we have lost the
trail of our allies," Goliath said. He cradled Elisa in his arms and
nodded
to Angela. They leapt and started to glide down the street smacking down
someone in purple business attire.
"What was that?" Angela asked trying to look back, "I thought we hit
someone."
"It was probably nothing that important that we should reveal
ourselves," answered Goliath, "Our hosts say most strange things in the area
seem not to attract any attention. No matter what the distraction."
Haruna-sensei got up. She had just been going to the temple to make a
wish for a wonderful date. Her boyfriend had finally gathered up the
courage to ask her out after their last disaster. It seemed whenever she
had a date something attacked her or where she was going. This time she
wanted to be prepared. Even now things were looking up. After that
sideswipe her outfit was in great shape. Besides, the monsters never
attacked her twice in a day. She just hoped that that Usagi wouldn't be
here handing out the charms.
Elisa was in Goliath's arms and Bronx ran across the landscape. The
crows were soon leading them to their mistress. Angela in her ingenuity
had
guess they knew the flight way better then her and her father. She was
still adjusting to that new situation, but at times like now it felt just
right.
"I hope you are correct, Angela," Goliath pondered out loud, another
thing she was adjusting to. He constantly questioned any action taken.
Well, this probably stemmed from his enormous guilt and responsibility as
leader. But did he always have to see the absolute core of everything?
"Yes," she concluded aloud, "I guess so and maybe me too."
"Don't worry Angela. You've never steered us off course, LOOK!" said
Elisa. Angela wondered trivially if the human would ever be her real
mother. She seemed to fall into that kind of role.
Angela scanned the selected area and saw trouble. The Senshi were
trapped by some odd people that seemed to crash right out of a fashion
magazines gone psycho. Two women wore body-armor almost up to their
chests.
One male with red hair looked like a vogue model. One of the women in
armor
wore putrid green high boots. She had black feather wrap and green hair.
The youngest yet oldest looking one had very light cyan wrapping gloves for
her fingers and shoulder strapped swimsuit. She had some matching high
heels, but most important was her white hair and the braid over her forehead
nearly covering her mark. It was like Serena's upside-down, but it was
black. Together they totaled five, including the floating monk with the
black orb.
"This is the opposition," joked Elisa, "What they going to do comment
on how I have no fashion sense. Say my shoes don't match with my jacket."
"No, you're just fine. If only you had something else to wear.
The
same outfit day in and out is starting to make your ratings sag," came a
voice that sounded like it had a grate in its throat, "You used to be a ten
now you're toast!"
Detective Maza and her non-human friends looked up to see a purple-
blue hared freak with cat-eared hair, a pink cat suit, and a ridiculous
tutu. She wore a crystal on her forehead and underneath the sign of the
Nega-Moon. More strange then that she was flying high above the gargoyles
and spreading her arms.
"Get outta the air, losers!" she spat moving her arms over her head.
Darkfire rained down on them in enormous tongues. Goliath and Elisa fell
due to heat, and Angela was grazed by one of the fires. Goliath and Elisa
regained consciousness in time to slow their rate of descent. Angela fell
into the Oasis jewelry store.
As Goliath floated to the ground he got ready to attack the agents of
the Nega-Moon. He growled letting his eyes glow fiercely then leapt toward
the red-head.
"I was looking forward to this," said Areubis, "I'm Areubis. You
should know exactly who's going to relieve you of the pain of living in this
dump called civilization. However, just to be fair I'll take a handicap."
With a flick of his undamaged wrist he knocked Goliath back ten feet, not
even touching him. Goliath got up and soared high into the air. He
stopped
and power-dived to the only male agent.
"RRRRROOOOAAAAAAR!" was all that emerged as he slammed four feet short
of Areubis. This caused the pavement to buckle and made Areubis lose
balance. He regained it soon enough and was flipping behind Goliath to
grab
him.
Brendan was enjoying this little sojourn. He had come to Japan for a
quick tour. Away from those monsters, and far from his never satisfied
Margot. Soon, he'd have to go back. What a shudder that gave him.
Oh, no,
Brendan, he thought to himself, remember what the Doc said nothing there
just your imagination. Well, anyway he'd had a great trip, seen the sights
and now was getting a good deal on a diamond from Mrs. Osaka and her cute
daughter Naru. Amazing how Naru seemed to have a Bronx accent, reminded
him
of a girl he knew named Molly. . .Molly Baker.
"Let's see you give me this for Y400,000. Yep, seems like good deal.
Here you go," he said handing her the money. She grabbed it eagerly gazing
at it like a terrified starved rat clutching for its only slice of cheese.
He wondered how come that nerdy kid with the swirly glasses had begged for
people to come to her shop. Maybe it was a gang zone, but it looked real
nice. He had this nagging feeling that him and Mrs. Osaka and her daughter
had something in common with him.
BOOM, Shatter and Tinkle!
The roof had just caved in and through it, on the viewing, shelf fell
no, no impossible.
"Stay back. Go away, Youma, run," he screamed as he left the store.
_______________
Monster
"Remember monster running procedure Naru-chan," Mrs. Osaka said, "Just
like the drill." And they proceeded to exit as though it was a drill.
They
locked certain places, grabbed this, called that, and soon were leaving.

Angela growled. Her eyes burnt red as she groped to the girl for
help. "NOOO! You don't drain me this time," she cried slamming
Angela with
her purse.
"OWW! THAT HURT!" roared Angela passing out.
Goliath fell at Areubis's attack. It was like his duel with Archmage
all over again. Only this time he could die and there was no Eye to take
this time. The man was after the talismans that Goliath hadn't lost yet.
He had thought these people could travel through time and space already.
Still if they got the Phoenix Gate the Eye of Odin could come next, and then
everything. With the Gate they could even take Avalon, , ,and. . .the. .
.last. . .hope. . .of. . .the. . .gargoyles. Strength charged through
Goliath. Filled with the vigor of twenty Lions the warrior pounced.
He
smashed through a wall missing Areubis, again.
Elisa watched hopelessly. There was nothing she could do. Wait,
if
she could free Sailor Mars. Those strips of paper might break the spell.
Maza grabbed her gun and pointed it at Prisma. The old mab just hummphed
as
she tried to halt the nonexistant bullets. A weird pulse came by and
ripped
up some of the ground near the scouts. It wasn't enough. Everyone
was
doomed.
"Ha," stated the phantasm in the robe, "I underestimate your long
string of luck. You have survived that pitiful Archmage, but he was an
amateur. I have you now. Elisa Maza, you and your friends are MINE
now and
forever." He then made a slight nega-pulse to make Elisa lose her energy.
Chibi-Usa had just popped from behind a lamppost thinking about how
things weren't going well, not well at all. I don't like those gaijins,
but
they're better than the Nega-Moon.
"Kitty, come here," she whispered. The ball with Luna's face floated
near its owner. "We need something to help Sailor Moon, but what?" she
asked aloud, "I know!"
Dribbling the ball quickly she threw it up and said, "Luna-P magic,
make a pair of ginzu knives." The ball exploded into pink smoke and
confetti then left some really sharp knives. They slashed right to the
nets
and cut Mars free.
Sailor Mars used her scrolls to free the others. All of their powers
returned. Flying up in the sky "Makoto" and Minako powered up their
attacks.
An antennae popped out of Lita's tiara and sent a charge of
electricity through her body and into her hand. It formed an elliptical
sphere. She got ready to knuckle ball it.
"JUUPITOR SPARKLING WIIDE THUNDER PRRRESURE BAALLL, ZAAP!" and she
pitched it right at the Wiseman. Caught off guard he vanished back to the
ship. All the other baddies were looking towards his former location in
shock.

Combination of the Japaneese and N.A. name for this attack as with Mars's
"Take real lightning fool," said Prisma as she pointed a finger at
Sailor Jupiter. It had just shot out when Bronx completely out of nowhere
dived into Prisma (I know old plot device, but hey it works) throwing the
shot a little to the right and towards an electrical box.
A white-haired man with violet eyes and a constant smile sat at his
large desk in his large office in his large HQ building. Chronos's
Japanese
Executive Commander was flitting through his security applicant forms on the
Macintosh when he spotted the humans he needed for the job. These two had
monster fighting experience and had no qualms about what was being
protected. They'd even gone so far to make enormous cybornetic
alterations.
He used his mouse to click for their acceptance, but the power killed just
then.
By the time they figured out they had ordered the man down next to
them it was several days after Hunter's Moon. Fortunately, Vinnie met Kami
and his clan before he ran into Gyro.
Goliath leapt to the sky and dropped foot first to knock out the
eldest of the Four Sisters. The Prisma hit the pavement with a loud crack.
Meanwhile Sailor Venus powered one of her less flashy attacks. Still
it was appropriate to get the job done. Her supposed complementary warrior
in combat was Aviary. The attack came to her in a second.
"VENUS!" her right arm lifted to the sky, causing spheres of light to
sparkle off of her pointed finger. The spheres arose and vanished so
quickly it was like they were bubbles.
"CRESCENT," Just then two crescent moons doubled-backed to each other
and forming a ‚><.
"BEAM!" her left arm grasping her inner right elbow hand. The symbol
of double crescent moons flashed lion gold on her back palm. She lowered
her hands and pointing straight at the lash of Aviary. This is when the
full beam pushes inward to her hand and then she announces the setting.
"PULVERIRRIIZZE!" now out came a condensed floodlight hi-beam of
golden power. The buzzing hum barely audible as it streaked to the whip
pinned it to the ground.
The road materials gave serious way and revealed enormous cracks. The
diameter of the beam widened and included Aviary on the ground. Her whip
had been too pinned to leave her react time and now her Chicks in Chainmail
variety set would be her undoing, as it crushed her.
Elisa recovered from the encounter, slightly. She could feel the
signs. Extreme acute cramping, burning blurry vision, weak body function.
She was experiencing a sleep attack. NO, not now, come on, there has to be
a way. . .I got it.
She whispered to Mercury who nodded to Mars.
The new gray Toyota compact car screeched up to the action. Out
popped Brendan and Mrs. Osaka. Naru helped Angela out of the car.
Angela
had seen the light show of power from afar after she'd come to.
Naru had had a three-way haphazard conversation via Brendan. It
seemed this man was horrified of the thought of Gargoyles in Japan. This
caused a lot of translation problems. Naru had said she was sorry and
would
treat everyone new on Earth as if they were General Jade.
Angela was able to mention the direction of the battle and the
"Senshi"
That had galvanized Naru and Mrs. Osaku. They seemed to know of the
girls but Angela was careful to guard their identities. After all who knew
what evil form the sorcerers took here. She rode in the micro-sized car.
Angela was still broken in several places even after given eighteen wraps.
She'd be no good in battle, as always. Blast if only she was a real
warrior. But then she noticed how much she'd progressed. Then she
smiled
realizing how she was growing up into her role and responsibility. It was
a
kinda Sweet Valley High meets Monday Night Brawl and Monster Mania moment.
Angela shook her head as she noticed the scouts.
They were hardly the same as if they had changed somehow. As Naru
placed her gently on the sidewalk Angela notices a blue-haired girl, Sailor
mercury? Come close to a fire hydrant and kick off the lid. Water
splashed
everywhere until there was a hiss of steam. Sailor Mars soul fire ignite
had made the icy water so hot the pavement buckled for the last time and
caved in.
In had worked. Mercury had made the cold water and her flame to make a
temperature bomb. They made things change temperature so fast
everything broke. Even Arubeus fell into the fetid waters. The
plan was two
told. The scouts gained higher ground and the Four Sisters went wild at
their
sewer-ridden outfits. Maza's plan had work. Switching Mercury's
tiara with
Maza's jacket transferred the same spell that made the scouts look like
strangers to their friends. Somehow Maza had summoned all her strength and
saved them.
Elisa wasn't as enthusiastic. That kick had been the most powerful
move of hers in all of her travels. Holding on to the edge of
consciousness
just outside pit of the forbidden delight of sleep, she was on her knees
ready to totter into the sewage.
Areubis was pulled up out of the sewer water by Goliath's grip on his
moppy and stained red hair. In Areubis's mouth were several brown, green
and moving things. This hardly mattered since he was semi-conscious with
heady fumes. The last thing that put out the lights was an uppercut of
Golaith's so hard Areubis was thrown up in the sky. Out of sight.
The Uncanny Four Sisters took this with a grain of salt.
"HOW DARE YOU RUIN MY LOOK. IT TAKES HOURS TO DO A
MAKE-OVER. Sistas, it is time for the ultimate strike," Katsie's voice was
a livid
razor blade evil.
"Kat's Eye Dance," she said dancing as before to use her fire.
"Snow Bird's Twist," trilled Birdie. Spinning to gather her water.
"Snake Tails's Bust-a-Move," shrieked Aviary.
"Prisma's Lunatic Box Step," Prisma stuck out her body like an X.
Then there seemed the be million of her as if she was in a Kaleidoscope.
Finally the battle cry.
"Akanshi Karaoke Show Stop" they cried together all hoarse as their
powers combined to a glowing disco ball bouncing all over. It was
detroying
all in it's path.
The scouts were at a loss. Elisa was drained and Goliath was. . .
In trouble, the ball was headed his way.
Taking her fingers and outlining a circle about her Mars began to use
her most powerful attack. Stretching her hands to control the spinning
flame she drew for the order in the fire. She held around her the power
symbols to this attack. They drew in and released in red circles.
Her cry was, "MAARS CELESSTEE-ALLL BURNING MANDAALA ATTAAACK!"
The ball absorbed the attack and headed for Mars. She was knocked
over Brendan's car and into the bushes.
The evil dance globe headed for the scouts too late. Mercury had
fogged all the area with her bubbles. The ball shined red and blasted out
Mar's rings. The entire team scattered Sailor Moon risked using her
tiara.
It should have worked now that her will to fight was strong, but it
was useless since she couldn't get a clear shot.
One of the random flying rings sliced at her ankle and slashed up her
arm. She put up her guard to protect against the worst of the attacks.
Bad
move, the tiara had fallen into the sewer. Goliath dived for it jutting
out
from the floor, but all the sisters jumped him.
He grew enormously fierce and yelled, "Gargoyle Lodestone Crush!" The
Sisters jumped back with fear. They didn't have the strength for a magic
attack of any kind. Goliath just smirked and grabbed the tiara. With
a
wink launched up to the street opposite to Elisa.
The pink gem of the tiara glowed as the headpiece became golden and
inconstant as quick silver. The white-yellow discus in Goliath's hand
seemed to speak something to him. And in a whirl (think a professional
discus thrower) he screamed "Moon Tiara, MAGIC!"
The discus blew the ball apart into a lot of sparkles. Goliath
blushed at his ridiculous statement and bowed his head.
The Four Sisters were about to strike when they realised they were
unable to summon their powers. Investing alot in that dance globe had
shocked their systems and they needed to escape.
The Wiseman was back in the Lobby erupting at his faux pas. Appearing
in the middle of the battle had been foolish, and cost him a great deal.
Now that the Travellers were aware of them the Gate and Eye were gone. He
couldn't get to Oberon or The Queen of Crystal Tokyo.
Even now time travel had crippling effects on his power. The cost of
such ventures were showing by his emotions and he needed to calm down. He
couldn't blame this one on his minions, not to himself at least. He had
been there. He could've grabbed the crystal from Sailor Moon, but instead
lost his bird in the hand for two in the clouds. With his agents weaken by
the ordeal it could be weeks before the next battle. That is if he didn't
use his power to recharge them. That to would cost more power that he
couldn't afford.
If the gargoyle named Goliath used the Gate, he could enter even the
Wiseman's personal chambers. There would be no stopping him. He
decided to
leave his newfound enemy alone. The gargoyles had proven their grit
against
magic before and would do it again, even at his expense. And there was no
telling what would happen with the Sailor Brat's crystal if the Eye or the
Gate stood too close to it for a long time.
This had been a triple times lost, and had cost the Wiseman much more
than resources. His energies aside, the Nega-moon agents would begin to
think him weak for his exit in the battle. Speaking of which where were
they.
Pearing through a vision (mirror commanded to view for them) he saw a
wretched ball of green, brown, and red head straight for the mirror.
CCCRASHINglerl
It crashed through the mirror cursing, "@#$^$%^%$&#^%$##^&$%^@ that
fossil warrior's luck. He won't be ready nex..."
"It was more than luck Arubeus," commented the Wiseman wafting his
hands over his orb. He could see the pulse of panick energy as the Sisters
were surrounded by the scouts. Luckily they were doing their speeches so
he
had time to . . .
"And in the name of Venus, Mercury, Mars, Jupitor, and (of course) the
pretty Moon," Sailor Moon smirked as the others looked with slight scowls.
Then the sound of a washing machine and drain came and left in less than a
microsecond.
One quick glance confirmed the Four Sisters had fled again. But the
scouts were sure they'd be back.
Chibia Darien watched in his tuxedo, cape and eye-piece on top of a
far away building. He smiled and cried at once. He had sensed the
death of
atama-odango near and had struggled with going to her rescue. By the time
he had made it the girls had had the situation under control. He had watch
enough though to know that the new youma weren't enemies. He only wondered
what they were doing here.
His small wondering left him unaware of the fact a SWOOFT had occurred
behind him. Neither did he note the sound of ball bearings meeting the
floor. He didn't quite notice the shadow that loomed behind him. It
had
large bat-like wings. He was deciding to go and prepped to leap. His
tired
pursuer then spoke.
"Wait! Darien, right? Uh, I'm Angela. . .No, don't turn around.
I
just want to talk to you. Okay look, I don't understand why. . ." Angela
had approached as slowly and carefully as possible. Tuxedo Kamen had
nearly
turned and would be following with a rose most likely. She had caught
sight
of him fleeing when the pavement gave and had followed since then.
Hopefully she could get to the bottom of this coldness.
"She's gotten that desperate. She's so obsessive about this
'relationship.' Can't she see its over, and now she's contracted monster
shrinks. Look lady I saw you at the battle. I'm not going to hurt
you.
I'd never," he began a large amount of pre-planned spiel while turning to
her.
"You're hurting the woman you love. I know, because I've seen that
look before, mask or no mask. You wish you could stand by her side.
You've
both been given a second chance. Why throw it away?" she yelled pointing
at
him. Her tail had barely twitched but it had been enough to knock Darien
from his feet. That way he couldn't run.
"Because, that's the past. . ." he began.
"You seem a little to ready to defend for someone so right. Maybe
you're wrong," she said her eyes inadvertently glowing red.
Darien whipped out his cane and tossed her over himself to the ledge.
She held on the sides. He stared coldly, but impressed.
"See, how much you've changed," she cried before she fell. He didn't
see her splat. But, ran (actually hopscotched the roof tops, but why get
technical) to his house assaulted by two visions. One of Serena in
Angela's
place and another of her death once he drew near to her.
Angela grinned as she soared to her father and Elisa. That may not
have fixed them but it did cause him the think. Goliath approved of her
actions after he embraced her at the reunion.
Elisa was almost in tears, the day had been too much on her, but she
managed to stand and smile at Angela's eptness.
"We better be going guys," Elisa said, "That monk said he wanted the
magic talismans. We can't find him so we should duck in the waters of
Avalon for a while. He'll lose track there for sure."
After going back to the temple in Bredan's car ("Take it just get out
of my life you horrible visions") the Travellers revived the fainted Chad
and Grandpa. Elisa sold the Grandpa on what fun he had been tonight.
She
had hoped things hadn't gone too fast and they should hook-up again. The
lonely Grandpa took it (and her phone number while she wasn't looking) with
great bashfullness then screamed at the schizoid "Chad" to get moving.
Huh, I don't believe I fell out, again. Just like in the ski trip, oh
man! he thought as he grabbed the sponge and went bull charging into a
screen.
Naru had left after seeing Usagi. The scouts had done a quick "Sailor
Scout, Teleport!" to make it back so they avoided detection. Naru just
smiled to Usagi and asked how was her hunk of a boyfriend. Serena seemed a
little bummed, but pulled through.
Elisa and the others piled on the boat. And this time Angela cast off,
Father was tired and had had the roughest fight ever. He needed a little
break.
"Think they have a chance?" Elisa said, "The girl and the guy?"
"All lovers have a chance, if only they'd speak from their hearts. I
was wrong to project my feelings of Demona to Serena. She has something
which she shouldn't let go."
"Well, onto where Avalon will take us next," Angela grinned. Bronx
yipped in agreement.
"Okay but take it slow, its not everyday we get to enjoy the light of
a golden crescent moon," Elisa said. The cop grinned and laughed.
The End
That's the end of this series. I hoped you enjoyed it!
