::Chapter 6::

Reenie gazed longingly at Gohan, who stared back. She wanted to turn and blush, but she felt a new sense of confidence in her. Besides, Gohan didn’t seem to want to stop looking at her, either.

She stood, wiped the dirt off her hands and went over to him.

"I—I appreciate everything you’ve ever done for me, Son Gohan. You’re always so sweet and kind…you always have love to share. And I really like that in a guy—in a person. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’ve sort of admired you for all these years. Funny I could never admit it, but now I am."

Gohan stood, shocked. She’d called him sweet, kind. She said he always had love to share. He didn’t ever look at himself like that…his motto was; ‘kindness probably solves a lot more than hatred’. Plus, she said she admired him. Admired him for what? His kindess? His love?

She was also about to cry. Was it because he wasn’t talking to her and looking at her blankly?

Probably.

Oops.

Reenie was sure he hated her. He was looking at her as if he didn’t care about what she had just said. She’d just told her feelings about him to him, and he acted as if he didn’t care…

Until he pulled her into a tight hug that surprised her so much she gasped.

Gohan smiled. Reenie was a pure little angel. His pure little angel. All his.

"You know, if you ever became a tomboy, I’d really be missing out on having a chance to be with you."

Had she heard right. She pulled a part a little and looked into those black irises. He was sincere. That meant…!

"Gohan…" she threw her arms around his neck, her face against his chest.

By now the sky was a dark blue with the moon shining around them and the stars twinkling their congratulations.

Reenie didn’t want to let go of him…but she still wasn’t sure he liked her...maybe he had just said that to be nice.

She kept thinking that until he tilted her head up to his kind eyes with a gentle finger, bent down and kissed her softly on her lips.

Reenie’s eyes closed slowly as she melted in Gohan’s embrace.

She couldn’t believe it! She was actually kissing Son Gohan! Dozens of emotions flowed through her and went into that kiss. His tongue stayed in his mouth, hers in her mouth, but still, that was the most passionate kiss either of them had ever had.

Reenie stood on her tiptoes, broke the kiss and just hugged him. He swung her off the ground and she laughed loudly.

When she landed back in his arms, she stared up at the moon. Then, she got the most romantic idea.

"Gohan-son…I will be right back…" she said in his ear. Then, she concentrated on her power and sent herself back to Bulma’s house.

It was obvious everyone was asleep, so she had no problem sneaking the portable tape player out of her room. She then concentrated on her power again and she was standing in front of the guy she loved.

He was confused a little, but he trusted his young angel, and watched what she did.

Reenie set the tape player down, checking to see if there was still a tape in it. Yes! She was right in assuming she had left the tape she always fell asleep to in the tape player.

Grinning up at Gohan, she pushed play and while waiting for the song "Dreaming of You" by Selena (AN: This is such a good song for those who don’t know what I’m talking about. Pretty song full of emotion for someone they love) to come on, Gohan took her into his arms. She lifted herself on tiptoe and whispered in his ear, "Dance with me, love."

Gohan blinked at his young angel several times before giving in. "I don’t know how to dance to a song like this, though." He said as the song started to play. Reenie loved this guy so much! He was so honest.

She giggled. "Take this hand," she held up her left hand. He took it and she kept their clasped hands in the air. "Now, put your other hand around my waist."

Gohan blushed at the thought of touching Reenie’s waist. "I don’t know, I don’t want you to be too uncomfortable with my hand around your waist."

Reenie giggled again at his innocence. "I’d adore you if you put your hand around my waist as much as I adore you now."

Gohan smiled lovingly down at her, did as he was told and waited as Reenie placed her other hand on his right shoulder.

"Now let the song guide your movements, and soon we’ll be dancing in the moonlight."

Gohan sighed as sweat formed on his head. He was nervous. What if he messed them up? She might get mad and not say anything. "You sure? I mean I might mess us up and—" he quieted when she put a slim finger over his lips. "Don’t worry, Gohan," she laughed, "I’ll love you still."

She loved him back? Gohan felt himself surge with power. Reenie loved him…she actually said it.

He grinned down at her. "Let’s dance." By now the song was almost over, so Reenie started it over again, pushed play, got back into form, and they began to twirl.

She knew the reason they were spinning, because Gohan was spinning and lifting them higher into the air. Reenie gasped and put her arms around Gohan’s neck. Both his hands remained on her waist and she laughed.

The spinning slowed and she realized they were very high from the ground, but right in front of the moon where everyone must have been able to see them if they were watching.

Gohan looked down into Reenie’s eyes, and she looked back up at him. "I love you, Son Gohan."

"And I love you, Reenie, my young angel." Reenie blushed at the nickname.

They slowly began to move until they were waltzing, but the motion so fluid and passionate that one couldn’t even call it dancing. It was more like a graceful swan-like movement, which only two lovers could figure out how to do.

Gohan took her hand and twirled her. She laughed as her hair fluttered around and curled around his fingers.

He lifted her by the waist above him, stared into her eyes and spun slowly. Reenie looked down at him. She lifted her head to the moon.

He brought her slowly back to him, and kissed her.

As they kissed, they spun slowly with Reenie’s arms around his neck, and his arms hugging her close.

Reenie and Gohan stopped kissing, looked at each other with love, and then she rested her head on his shoulder as he slowly descended and the music faded away into the night.

Reenie had never felt so happy in her life…and she never wanted that night to end.

*~*~*~*

Back on the cliff, Reenie sat next to Gohan, him holding her. It felt wonderful…like she was safe. "I wish you could hold me forever." Had she actually said that!? Gohan chuckled. "If we stay here any longer I’m going to fall asleep holding you anyway."

Reenie giggled. "We probably should go home now. But this has just been such a wonderful night."

"I have to agree with that."

Reenie sighed happily. Then she stood tugging, on Gohan’s hand. "Up! We gotta go." Gohan laughed.

He laced their fingers together, then kissed the back of Reenie’s hand.

Reenie almost fainted again.

That was soooo romantic!!

They both dove off the cliff and flew home with their hands laced together.

٭~٭~٭~٭

Once at the Briefs’ home, Reenie looked uneasily at Gohan. She didn’t want him to leave. No way were they going to her room…

That was when she spotted her favorite tree.

"Sleep by the lake?" Gohan whispered, amazed, so no one would hear them.

"Yeah, why not? The perfect way to end an amazingly fantastic night! Oh please Gohan? Please, please, pleeeeeeease??!"

Gohan gave in at the first please. "OK, OK. If I can sleep in the wilderness for a month or so, I can sleep in a tree. Hope you can get comfy because I can get comfortable in very awkward places."

Reenie laughed and pulled him toward the tree.

He lifted her up to the first thick arm of the tree and flew next to her.

He leaned his back against the bark of the tree, and Reenie leaned her back against his chest, both their legs dangling over the sides of the armlike branch. Surprisingly enough for both of them, the tree was very comfortable and in less than a minute, both were sleep.

Gohan’s arms were protectively wrapped around Reenie’s waist, and Reenie’s hands were touching Gohan’s palms.

Keno had arrived on earth a few short hours ago, not amused by anything. "This is what warriors are willing to protect? They’ve got people killing each other on those box things but do warriors go out and rescue the victims and then kill the killer like they do to my kind, noo-o, of course not. They sit back, watch and enjoy like the disgusted breed of human race they are." He was speaking as he watched a horror film from a Television Display window.

It was dark where he stood; even the moon seemed to have faded. He only knew of one human that was near. The old man sleeping on the park bench. Looking like a kid of fourteen, he woke up the man; he wanted to have some fun.

"Sir, I’m lost. Could you tell me where the martial arts stadium is?"

The man looked at the child with genuine uninterest. "There ain’t no martial arts stadium near here, kid. Just go on home."

"But, sir, I was told I would find a stadium."

"You might find a baseball stadium, but we don’t do martial arts here, kid. Now go on home."

"Sir, I’m afraid that’s not possible."

The man stood, his full smell getting into Keno’s lungs. Keno hissed and stepped back. "You reek! What is it I smell—garbage? Rotten eggs? What ever it is it could wipe out an entire planet!"

"Listen, kid, I’m getting a little tired of you. Get away form me or I’ll personally remove you from this world."

Keno grinned. This is what he’d been waiting for. "Take your best shot, sir."

Growling, the man took a swipe at Keno…

……And he paid with his life…

Keno laughed. "Humans are no problems on this planet! Reenie is a human…kind of. Where to find her…where to find her…"

"Hi, folks, and welcome to the three A.M. news. You know, Barrell, it’s a wonder why people never watch this news show." Keno turned back to the televisions in the display glass. A news show had come on one of them.

"Well, they should Suki. After the image we saw today everybody should be awake and watching. Well folks it seems as if we have a newcomer in Silver City, what most people are calling an angel."

In a flash the image of a woman with odangos in her hair appeared on the television. Keno roared with laughter. "So Serenity is here! What fun this’ll be…to kill mother and daughter, how classical. KeriKoe will repay me in full for this one."

He paid no attention to the rest of the story and walked on down the street clad in jeans and a ripped shirt. He could fit in with street cats (AN: Nickname for street-guys) just as well as any other guy who looked fourteen.

An hour later Keno was still wandering around Silver City searching for Reenie.

~*~Next Morning at Eight~*~

"Ahh! Serena watch out!" Serena turned and screamed just as a boy on a skateboard went zooming past her. Growling, she yelled after him, "Why don’t you watch where you’re going you little twerp!"

The boy turned to her, smirked, and kept on going. Serena balled her hands into fists and ‘humphed’ as Rei commented about her temper. "I just don’t see why earth tolerates such beasts like kids. Reenie wasn’t even that bad."

Rei laughed along with Hotaru. "You know, we’ve been on earth for a day and we haven’t even left this shelter." Amara commented airily. "Hey! We’re doing the best we can, no thanks to you!" Mina shot back, annoyed with Amara’s attitude once and for all.

Amara blushed beat red for a minute, then settled for a deep scarlet. "And what," she seethed, "are you trying to infer?"

"That all you are is dead-weight!" Mina yelled, climbing a tree to escape Amara’s wrath. "Get down here you little blonde bimbo!"

Serena whirled around in anger. "And just WHAT are you trying to say about blondes, hmm?? That we’re bimbos just because of our hair color!?! Remind yourself the next time you look into your mirror that you are one!"

She started chasing Amara around the tree screaming something about murder and blondes. Lita, Ami and Michele sweat-dropped as Rei held up her fist and waved it around. "I swear I’ll kill you all if you don’t shut up! You’re causing a ruckus!" Mina, Serena and Amara all paused what they were doing to roll their eyes at Rei and continue arguing. Serena was yelling at Amara, Amara was yelling at Serena, Mina was yelling down at them both from the tree and Rei had started to yell also.

Hotaru, Michele, Lita and Ami covered their ears. "So you see why we never joined up with you guys in the beginning?" Michele asked. Ami and Lita nodded and Hotaru sighed and looked up at the sky. She wondered what Reenie was doing now…

"Ahh no I’m not ready!" Reenie jumped out of the way of Vegeta’s attack, it narrowly missed her shoulder. Vegeta grew angrier. Reenie was still his favorite kid here, but she could be such a ditz at times…

"I don’t care if you’re ready or not! And if I don’t care how do you think an enemy will feel?" He shot at her again with a larger ki blast and she jumped over it, banging into the tree limb above her head and falling back to the ground with maze-like circles in her bulged out eyes.

Vegeta rolled his eyes. "Are you ready yet!?" Reenie rubbed her head, still embarrassed about the position her and Gohan had been found this morning. She’d fallen out of the tree and Gohan had almost fallen on top of her.

Well, at least now everybody knew. <Duck, Princess.> Reenie looked up, "Huh?" She ducked and screamed when Vegeta’s attack flew right over her head.

"I was supposed to go to school today but somebody kidnapped me!" She yelled at him from behind a large boulder in the middle of nowhere. Vegeta smiled.

It had been true. Everyone in the Briefs house had awaken to find the two lovebirds asleep in a tree, and when Vegeta had kicked the tree, he stole Reenie while everybody started asking mindless questions.

He’d seen the romance between Kakorott’s kid and Reenie start to bloom when she started hanging around him more. Flirtatious little bug as she was, Reenie was always too nervous to actually do anything but talk to him. Wimp.

He titled his head to the side as one of her own ki blasts whizzed by his ear. "Is that all?" he demanded sourly.

Reenie jolted. "That was a good attack and you know it! Stop acting like a—like a carrot!" Vegeta stared at her, wondering what she meant by that. He shrugged it off and continued to fire a series of blasts at her, finally succeeding in drawing blood and tattering her clothes. "There now. You’ve worn in your clothes and you should be able to move quicker. Attack me?"

It was more of a demand than a question and Reenie did as she was told, jumping off one foot to fly toward him at slow speed. Was that as fast as she could go? Vegeta wasn’t impressed, and showed her this by flinging her into the sky like a rag doll and kicking her in the gut back down.

Reenie breathed in deeply, rock chunks falling off her back as she fought to stand. Her lip was wide open and bleeding, her arms had cat-like scratches on them, and she had a huge throbbing headache. She felt the back of her head where her hair was matted. The jerk had drawn blood back there too!

Crushing dirt with her hands, she lifted herself up and took in wheezing breaths. Vegeta simply knocked her back onto the ground with an uppercut and a kick to the ribs.

"Ugh…!" she spit out blood and rolled over to her stomach, fighting the idea to go into a deep dark blackness called sleep. Suddenly, it appeared. Right in front of her, within reach. Her…her broach! Could it be? She hadn’t seen this tiny locket since she was…nine!

She reached for it, one eye permanently closed for now.

Vegeta watched with interest as she grabbed the little broach that had landed in front of her from the sky.

"Mini Prism Power!" she yelled, or at least tried yelling. Nothing happened and Reenie let the locket go, drawing in a few ragged breaths. "I knew it…I’m too old to use this anymore." She rolled onto her back and stared up at the sky, clouds drifting along. Her other eye had opened.

Then, she got an idea. Flipping herself to a kneeling position which was killing her knees, she grabbed the locket and yelled, "Moon Prism Power!"

All at once rainbow light flew toward her, engulfing her body.

Vegeta watched, not so much interested in the fact that she had just gone nude, but the fact that she was calling upon power from the moon, and it was answering her.

Standing before him a few seconds later was Reenie, only different…

Her hair for one thing, was completely strange. It was done up in two ball-like things and had her hair streaming down from those ball-like things.

And her out fit—the skirt was as short as her legs were long, and she wore…pink boots!? How could someone want to wear pink boots in the middle of a rocky mountain area!?!

She also wore white gloves and a golden tiara hung low on her forehead.

Crescent moon earrings hung from her ears, and pink stuff that glossed settled neatly on her lips.

Yes! She had done it! Changed into Sailor Mini Moon! She wondered if her powers still worked? "Pink Sugar Heart Attack!"

Little pink hearts came flittering toward Vegeta. He smirked and slapped them away. "Are you trying to mock me?"

Reenie blushed. "No! Let’s fight!" Vegeta nodded. This is what he had been waiting for. Could it be that transformation, which gave her less power than what she had already, gave her confidence?

She sped toward him, faster than before, much faster. So fast, that he couldn’t even block the chuck to the cheek or the kick in the stomach.

"You move as fast as an SSJ! But that’s impossible!" he said, awed. Reenie just grinned. "Nothing is impossible for a Sailor Scout!"

Vegeta rubbed his cheek. "Sailor Scout?" he asked, frowning. Reenie blushed. "Ah, I mean, uh—nevermind. Don’t you want to fight? That’s what you kidnapped me for, isn’t it!?" Immediately her anger surfaced and she bolted toward him. Vegeta had a feeling she was hiding something from it but said nothing for the remainder of the time they trained.

Later that day as the noontime heat was beginning to kick in, Vegeta called a halt to their training. Reenie had de-transformed with so many blows from head to toe and was now wallowing in a riverbank.

"Let us talk more about this Sailor Scout thing." He finally said, sitting on the bank of the river while Reenie dove under the water clad in only her tattered outfit she’d had on last night. "No." she said, spitting water at him and diving back under to feel the slick mud between her feet.

Vegeta wiped his face and watched as she cleaned her cuts. "I wasn’t asking." Her whole face changed when she looked up at him, but she was trying so hard not to let her fear show.

"I said, ‘No.’" she sank deeper into the water until only her head cut the surface. "Why do you want to know so much anyway?"

She had long since gotten her memory back, every detail, and was just waiting for her mother to come take her home.

Vegeta looked at her. "Because it interests me, and rarely anything that has to do with a woman does nowadays."

Reenie laughed a musical laugh. "I’m still not convinced I should say anything to you."

Vegeta held a flaming ball in his hand. "How about now?"

Reenie shuddered. "Give me your shirt." Vegeta looked at her, confused. "You know I’m already bonded with a woman. And you have Kakorott’s son."

Reenie blushed crimson. "I mean give me your shirt so I can get out of the water! My clothes fell off, thanks to you."

Vegeta rolled his eyes but didn’t make a move to take his shirt off. "Talk to me from the water. I like my shirts dry, thanks."

Reenie seethed. "Fine, but you better have something for me to wear or I’m not getting out of this water."

"Just tell the damn story!"

Reenie started. It was the first time she’d ever heard him curse at her. Vegeta saw her hesitation and murmured sorry. "OK," she said slowly. "I’ll tell you."

She began telling about the Moon Kingdom before Serena had ever been Sailor Moon, and about how Serenity had to send Serena and all of the Sailor Scouts to earth to save them. About how Luna would wake up Serena’s memory and about how the Sailor Scouts became.

"I come in from the future," she said, "in Crystal Tokyo. I had been sent to gather the crystal from Serena, and with my Luna Ball I joined her family as her cousin, but only she knew I was lying." She continued about some of the various adventures she had shared with the Scouts, about her serious crush on Mamoru, and about Mistress Nine.

"They needed my pure heart to set Nine free, so I kind of died for a while there." Vegeta had gasped slightly at this part.

Then she told of Hotaru and Amara and Michele. "I was her only friend. She could heal herself, so not many people liked her. But when we freed her from Mistress Nine, she came back to earth as a baby to start her life over."

She continued on about the last battle, and finally about returning home on the moon. "And that’s where I’m supposed to be living now, but while I was in my room one there was a portal in my room and I kind of got sucked through it. I lost my memory for a while."

"Then, my mother came to me," she continued on, telling him of the night she had drown in the water. "And that’s basically more than just the story of the Sailor Scouts, but I figured it wouldn’t make sense to you if I didn’t tell you the whole story."

Vegeta was frozen in thought. "So you are a princess of Lunarian blood. I thought they were wiped out."

Reenie shrugged. "Vegeta," she started shyly. He stared at her. "I want to try something—to transform, like Sailor Moon does. If I was pushed to my limit, I bet I could—"

Vegeta grinned. "I’m on it."

Fishing around in his pocket, he threw the Disguise Pen to her. "Found it while looking for any clues as to where you came from. Wanted the woman to examine it, but I forgot about it. I’m surprised it stayed in my pocket."

Reenie grinned. "Disguise Pen! Change me to look suitable for a fight!"

The water swirled around her and in a minute she was standing on the bank, dry and in fighting gear.

Her hair was tied back in a long ponytail with tendrils of sleek hair around her face. She wore a black tank top, brown puffy pants, black boots with red laces (AN: Like Goku’s) and gloves with the fingers cut out so her fingers showed.

Examining herself, she nodded and took a step forward, tripped on her hair, which went way past her feet, and fell backward.

She shook her head and bit her lip at her hair. "I couldn’t…"

Vegeta was getting bored. "Will you hurry up!?" She spared no glance for him.

Taking a jagged rock, she softly ran it along her finger and saw blood. Yup, this rock was very sharp. Grabbing fistfuls of her hair, she sliced the locks off until there was a pool of pink at her feet. She felt tears go down her cheeks when she tugged on the hair that now came to her shoulders.

Vegeta watched in silence.

Reenie tied her hair back in an uneven ponytail and faced Vegeta, ready to fight. She sniffled. "If you’re going to help me to the next level, I suggest you do it while I’m hurt. Take advantage of that and hurt me even more."

He grinned at her. "Will do." With that, he came toward her, attacking and shooting at the same time.

Reenie needed to get to the next level, like Sailor Moon did. She just had to! There had been something whispering to her in the back of her mind that she was in danger for a week now, but she had just ignored it.

Until she remembered that nightmare…

Yes, the same nightmare she’d had the day her and Gohan had gotten…involved. Something must have been wrong if something was warning her like this.

Turning out of harms way she elbowed Vegeta in the stomach, hard, and was sent sprawling backward with a kick in the chest.

It was true, she wasn’t very courageous, and she would always escape a fight, but she too was a Sailor Scout, not just a princess!

Kick to the shoulder met with an uppercut.

But how was she going to do it? She’d never actually done anything special in her life. Always been the weak one.

The extra Scout?

Tears smarted her eyes from this remark and the blast to her chest.

She had to become stronger…she felt her pulse pounding.

She had to become faster…she felt her fist tightening.

She had to become more powerful…she felt something burning within her.

With a scream, she knocked Vegeta backward and went wild.

She punched him five times as fast as she had ever punched, kicked with straight legs and more accuracy, blasted him with full blasts.

Finally, she felt something grow, and she grabbed it…

"CRIMSON CANNON!!" Thousands of blood red balls of heated energy flew toward Vegeta.

They were HUGE!!!

He cringed when the heat scourged him and finally, too weak to argue, was blown away…

Reenie watched and screamed Vegeta’s name when he landed roughly beside her, not moving. "Vegeta I’m so sorry! Just please don’t be dead!"

She shook him and he came to.

He blinked at her a couple of times. "Wow. That is all I have to say." Reenie didn’t smile or grin. Tears spilled down her cheeks and she hugged him.

"You mean to say you actually thought you killed me?" he asked softly, stroking her hair like he used to do when she was younger and a crybaby.

"Yes." She mumbled. Vegeta laughed and sat up. "Obviously you didn’t, so lets get back to work. And I believe you transformed." Reenie looked up at him. One last tear fell from her eye but she was pale and her cheeks were pink.

"I can tell because your hair is so blonde it looks platinum-white." Reenie gasped and looked at her reflection in the water.

Sure enough, her hair was the same way it was as before when she turned into her princess self last night. It was cut short to her collar bone, and now it had turned even, so it hung nicely around her neck. Her eyes were also a lavender color now, like Trunks’ hair.

"No.." she said softly. "I’m supposed to look the same…what happened?"

Vegeta thought she looked stunning but Reenie didn’t seem to be thrilled. "Well, I don’t know." He said. "Maybe it’s the way you transform. I should mention you look even more like a princess, though."

Reenie grinned. It did look kind of nice. Then, she looked timidly at Vegeta. "You think Gohan will like it?"

He threw her into the water.

"Is that a yes or a no!?" she demanded, bobbing up to the surface and sputtering.

"Kill him, kill him, maim him, kill him again…" Bulma was making her plans for Vegeta very carefully. "Chichi, what should I do after I maim him?"

"Kill him." Came the bloodthirsty reply from the other side Bulma’s kitchen. Bulma nodded and lodged another ‘kill’ in her memory.

Gohan sat at the table, struck with confusion and deep worry for Reenie at the same time. "He wouldn’t hurt her, right? Vegeta’s ruthless but he doesn’t kill for fun, does he?"

"Of course not, poor dear." His mother said soothingly. She had gotten so excited this morning when finding out him and Reenie were in love…

"I can’t believe you danced all night long in the moonlit sky," Bulma had added dreamily. She had then looked around for Vegeta to yell at him for not dancing with her in moonlit skies when she discovered him and Reenie missing.

Now they were both angry with Vegeta, and Chichi was raging like a bull: Gohan had missed his first day of school to look for Reenie all day long.

She pounded her fists on the table. "THAT’S IT!! I’m going to find Vegeta and kill him!"

She stomped out of Bulma’s house just as Reenie enveloped her in a wamr hug.

Anger forgotten, Chichi wrapped her arms around the girl. "You’re OK? Did he hurt you? Why are you bleeding!!!!"

Reenie looked down at both of her knees, felt a cut on her forehead and wiped blood from her shoes. "Mountain climbing." She said finally.

"Mountain climbing my ass!! Where the hell is Vegeta!?! And don’t you dare try to protect him, not this time!!"

They both turned as Bulma came out of the house screaming.

"Quiet, woman. You’ll scare the birds."

Bulma whirled around to face Vegeta, cutless, bruiseless, fine, glancing up at a tree with some birds in it. She lost her temper.

"What did you think you were doing!! You just decided today of all damn days was the perfect day to kidnap Reenie!?? She was going to go to school, you heartless jerk! Listen to me Vegetalbe head!!!"

Vegeta glared at her.

"I don’t know what little demons you have up in your brain, but I suggest getting them out, and NOW!!! If you ever try pulling something like that on us again, I will personally kill you!"

Vegeta laughed. "If you tried assulting me you’d end up staring deep into my eyes in our bedroom. Then we’d see who was assulting who."

Bulma turned ruby red. She breathed deeply a few times before regaining her peace and speaking calmly. "Vegeta, please do not change the subject," then more naturally, "the point I’m trying to make is Reenie missed a day of school just so you could beat her up. I really think the next time you want to pound on something, you should—"

"What happened to your hair!" A seriously horriefied Chichi pulled a strand of Reenie’s hair out of her head. Reenie winced in pain. "It’s…you dyed your hair!?"

Chichi was ready to faint. So she did.

Bulma threw up her hands. "I give up! Reenie, help me get Chichi inside. Vegeta, we’ll discuss this later."

"Whatever, woman. But we’ll discuss something else right now."

Bulma looked over her shoulder right before Vegeta scooped her up into his arms and flew off with her. She clutched his neck.

"Vegeta! Wh-why are you going so fast? Where are we going?" The wind whipped in her face until he finally set her down.

She jumped out of his arms, happy to be on the ground. "What are we doing here?" she asked calmly, anger far away when she realized they were on Kami’s Lookout.

"I asked him to bring you here, Bulma-san. Onegai, forgive me?"

Bulma smiled down at Dende. "Of course, but that still doesn’t explain why we’re here."

"I think I’ll answer that." Piccolo said, emerging from his medatory state. Bulma backed up against Vegeta in fear. She’d never been too sure about Piccolo.

Vegeta snickered and pushed her away from him so she was standing face-to-face with Piccolo. "The Namek can’t hurt you."

"How do you know?" she demanded. Vegeta grinned, fire flashed in his eyes. "Trust me."

Piccolo smirked. So Vegeta could love someone other than himself. Miracles really did happen.

"A long time ago," Piccolo began, "I destroyed the moon. I think we all know that because we all saw it disappear. Trunks remembered me destroying the moon first, then went to speak with you, Bulma."

"Mirai Trunks?"

Piccolo nodded.

"He never spoke to me. I haven’t even seen him since him and the guys said they were going fishing yesterday."

Piccolo smirked. "That’s because he spoke to me instead."

"Why you?"

"Because I destroyed the moon."

"So?"

Annoyed, Piccolo leaned against a tree. "So now it’s back and nobody wished it there. That means that the moon I destroyed was either a fake, or this moon in the sky is a fake. I’m not sure which, but Tru—Mirai Trunks brought up an interesting point."

Bulma tilted her head and crossed her arms. "And that would be?"

"That Reenie is using her power from the moon. In that case, I’m starting to think the moon in the sky now is real. Either that or it’s a power source for Lunarians."

Vegeta looked up. "How could you possibly know about the Lunarians? They don’t exactly have special bonds with Nameks."

Piccolo glared daggers. "We do, Vegeta. You aren’t the only one who comes from a royal bloodline."

Vegeta clenched his teeth. "What? You couldn’t possibly be royalty."

"Never said I was. I know about Lunarians because they—"

"Let’s just get to the point!" Bulma was getting aggrivated.

Piccolo closed his eyes and continued on. "As I was saying, this new moon could be a power source for Lunarians, but I highly doubt that."

"So you dragged me here to tell me about a false moon? I could have been watching my soaps and you bring me here to talk about space. Once an alien, always an alien. That goes for you too, Vegeta.

She fished around in her pocket. Pulling out a capsule she always kept just in case, she threw it on the ground after pressing the buttom and out popped an air car. "I’ll see you guys at home. I don’t have time for this."

"Bulma, you don’t understand." She froze to listen to Dende, as did everyone else. "I feel a deep power within Reenie. I sensed it when she first came here to train in the Chamber. At first I ignored it, but now, it has become as strong as she is. In fact, her power of good and evil are exactly the same."

"What power of good and evil?" Vegeta demanded. "I didn’t want to say anything, but I’ve been watching Reenie. There is deifinately something else inside of her. I’ve seen it in her dreams, and the warnings she receives from her mother, the Queen of the Moon."

Bulma spun around. Nobody else was surprised. "Reenie is—is a—a princess?"

Vegeta laughed. "As if you didn’t know. You think a pretty little girl just drops out of the sky?" Bulma sighed. "No, you’re right. And don’t take that to your ego this time."

"Don’t start with me, woman."

"Anyways. Where do I come into all of this?" she asked. Piccolo answered this in a heartbeat. "You are to study her power. Since you created a device to read power levels, you will read Reenie’s. We also need you to find this evil inside of her which Dende speaks of."

Bulma placed her hands on her hips. "No way. We all know there’s no evil inside of Reenie. She can’t even step on grass without worrying she’ll hurt something. Why would she be evil?"

"Stop asking questions and just do as you are told!" Vegeta snapped.

Bulma rolled her eyes and slowly turned to face him with a look that said, ‘Don’t mess with my attitude’. "Excuse me? Do as I’m told? Who do you think you are? I don’t do anything! I’m not your little slae, your little bus boy! I do what I want to do, you got that, Vegetable head? And if I don’t think there’s any evil in Reenie, I don’t do anything about it, you got it? All of you!"

She dared anyone to speak with the look she gave them. "But," she continued angrily, "I’ll do what you ask. You just know this: you should all feel like jerks for even thinking Reenie could have a mean bone in her body." With that, she whirled around, stepped into her air car and flew off toward home.

Vegeta smiled. "That was refrshing. Now about Reenie."

"We can’t tell the others, and we most certainly can’t tell Gohan." Dende said, grinning. Piccolo was meditating again. "Did she shwo any signs of evil while you were training her today, Vegeta?"

"No. But her power increased quite a bit. You could learn from her, Namek."

Piccolo chose to ignore the insult and continued on. "When you train her tomorrow, pry into her past. Ask about her power."

Vegeta snarled. "A Namek, ordering a Prince around? Ha! That is the most dangerous thing you have done while on earth, Namekian."

Piccolo tensed. "I don’t understand," he said, seething, "why you’re such a little boy, Vegeta. You have kids, you’re strong, barely, and you can fight, barely. I should think by now that a ‘Prince’ like you would know what ‘anger management’ was."

Vegeta’s temper flared. He powered up to SS and got ready to attack Piccolo. "Any more words before you die, Namek?"

"Yes, one. Disappointment."

Vegeta sprang like a tiger towards Piccolo but was knocked out of the way by a strong force.

He rolled over and saw Gohan standing in front of Piccolo, powered up to SSJ. "What’s going on here?" Gohan demanded, threatining Vegeta with his eyes.

Vegeta stood and brushed himself off. "You’re very lucky the boy was here to save you." He flew off Kami’s Lookout.

Gohan watched him go and returned to his normal self. Then he sighed. "Why does he have to be so cocky?" he asked Piccolo. Piccolo shrugged. "Incredible power, Gohan. Why don’t you train with Reenie?"

Gohan blushed. "I couldn’t do that, Piccolo." He said. "I’m afriad I’d hurt her, and if I did, I’d probably kill myself." Piccolo smiled. "Just try it."

Sighing again, Gohan turned to leave the Lookout, forgetting why he had even gone there in the first place but glad he did. "You coming?" he asked, ready to jump off. "Later." Piccolo answered, sitting himself crossed-legged in the air.

Gohan waved and bounded off the Lookout.

"Ahh…so there you are, Reenie." Keno stood in the sky staring down at Reenie who was reading a book under that large tree in Bulma’s back yard. "You don’t even know I could destroy you this minute, do you? My, my, you certainly are pretty. But I suppose all Lunarians are."

It had taken him a very long while to find her, but as soon as he felt that warm feeling everyone always did whenever a Lunarian Princess was using her power, her knew where to go.

He wanted to kill her now. But KeriKoe wanted her body. And if KeriKoe wanted her body, he would give it to her. But he wouldn’t kill her just yet. He’d bring her to KerKoe and give her the pleasure.

He still smiled at Reenie. Then, without warning, she was standing before him crossing her arms.

Keno gasped. "Who are you and why have you been watching me?" she demaded sternly.

"How can you be flying without your wings? No Lunarian can do that! And how dd you know I was here? You could sense me? Impossible!"

Reenie’s eyes glittered. "I am not your average Lunarian, but how do you know of us?"

Keno grinned. "I wish to take you home with me."

"What?"

With that, he struck her with one of his nails so fast she didn’t see it. "Ouch!" she slapped him, punched him and kicked him to the ground.

Pressing the dirt, Keno was in awe. She was no weak girl. He lifted his face and saw her clutching her sore, moaning.

Now she was pressing her palms against her head. Perfect.

Reenie was weakening. But how? Her cut was aching, throbbing with intesity. And her head hurt like crazy.

She looked down at the boy her age. Why did he do this? What…did…he want…with…her…

Sh was unconscious and falling out of the sky at an incredible speed. Keno was just about to catch her when Vegeta showed up, angry.

He swiftly caught Reenie in his arms. She was beginning to change back into herself and her hair went back down to her shoulders, pink in color.

He gared at the boy.

Keno grinned. "Vegeta, Saiy-jan Prince. The pleasure is all mine. Now if you don’t mind, I’ll take hr from you."

"You come any closer and I’ll drag your rotting corspe back into the grave it came from."

Keno smelled himsef. It was from the man he killed and the dumpster.

"Ah, funny. But I have orders I must obey, if I fail I pay with my life."

"Nice knowing you."

Keno breathed deeply. "Thanks, but I’d rather you knew me longer. Just give me the girl."

Right about that time Bulma came out of the house, glaring daggers. "Vegeta, why’d you run away like that? I wasn’t finished yelling at you!"

Sh noticed Keno and jumped. "Oh, we have visitors?"

"No, this boy was just leaving, weren’t you?" Vegeta said mockingly. Keno glanced at Bulma, and in a split second she was over his shoulder, bound up.

"Now, Reenie for," he sniffed her, "for your mate."

Vegeta stood, mouth open. How did he do that? "Let her go!" he demanded fiercly. "I’d rather not."

"Do you want me to beat it out of you?" Vegeta yelled Keno smiled. "I doubt you could. But this talking is useless. Reenie or this woman hall die. Now, I shold add."

Vegeta trembled slently. He couldn’t attack the boy because he would kill his wife…His Bulma! How dare this kid come barging in here.

He looked down at Reenie.

She was gone! Instead, Bulma was there, looking up at him, dazed. "What happened?" she asked. Vegeta dropped her and looked around. The boy and Reenie were gonE! How could he have just vanished?

!~!~!~!~!

Keno hummed to himself as he flew with Reenie in his arms. Such a beautiful creature. Too bad she had to die.

Reaching the ship he had come in, he set her down in one of the seats, strapped her in and flew off the planet.

He arrived on his home planet a little while later and carried Reenie to the front of the castle. Instead of KeriKoe bein there, Teero was there instead. And when he saw Reeni, he killed Keno and took her into his castle.

Setting her down in something that looked like a large cocoon, he pressed a few buttons and watched as wave after wave of darkness engulfed her body and erased her memory.

Smiling, he ran over to a large computer in the same room and swiftly pressed a few keys. Finally, a large picture of Wickedlady filled the screen. "Yes. Soon, my Queen." He saw her eyes open, cold and emotionless.

Bu she didn’t look like the regular Wickedlady…

Instead of odangos, her now very long pink hair was swept up in a high pony tail. She wore black, shiny leather… a leather leotard looking body piece, skin tight, and black shiny leather gloves that went up her arms, along with back shiny leather boots. A leather chokie was wrapped around her neck, ad she smiled at Keno.

"So nice to be back in a new world." She whispered softly, adoring the picture before her. Teero was overjoyed. Not only was this Wickedlady, but she was…abosultely stunnning!

Waisting no time, he kissed her for a long period of time just as KeriKoe walked in the room, surprised. "T-Teero, is this Wickedlady?" she demanded, breaking them apart. Teero grinnd and stared at his work. "It is. Perfect, isn’t she?"

KerKoe shrieked. "Where is Keno!?"

"I disposed of him as soon as he brought me her body. Why do you ask?"

KeriKoe whipped her head around to face Wickedlay. In blind madness, she raced at her. Wickedlady held her hands in front of her. "Galaxy Suction…" she hissed, stopping KeriKoe in her tracks as darkness hurt her. This darkness was different. It was like a thousand tiny, hungry bats were biting her, scratching her and pushing. Finally, when they had covered her body, they exploded.

"Dark Shield." A shield appeared in front of Wickedlady and Teero just as acid from the bats’ explosion sprayed everywhere.

Teero turned to Wickedlady, grinning. "You are a prize worht keeping, but let me dress you in a Queen’s attire."

Wickedlady bowed and took the hand that was in front of her.
